Karen-
In 2005 it was listed in Entreprenuer (sp?) magazine as one of the top 20 home based businesses. At that time I was also doing two home based businesses along-side my current full-time job, but not getting anywhere with them. So I researched poop scooping for about 9 months, decided to do it, and the very week I filed my business application and was about to order all my supplies, someone else in my small town started up their poop scooping business!!!! (go figure) I have since put it on the back burner with the economy/gas prices and such. May do it later. It's a dirty job but it pays well.
My name was going to be Reporting for Doody. (we live close to an air force base so that was kind of my inspiration) One guy I've talked to is VERY successful with his business. He lives in a super nice house and he calls it the house that poop built. Not sure why I remember that.

I'm always on the hunt for new things to get in to.
