Looks like I missed everyone tonight.... Just got back in from a hockey game in Philly... traffic was a bear coming back....

If anyone is ever in Philadelphia - hit Chickie and Pete's - awesome!

Her uterus had an infection and had ruptured and bacteria was leaking into her stomach...emergency hystrectomy...5 different antibiotics and we are doing alot better..:thumbsup2

Poor, poor dog!!! Hope she makes a speedy recovery.... :dogdance:

Good thing your know you dogs so well, Thankfully you caught it in time

Absolutely!! :thumbsup2 My Dalmatian is easy to read, but the Sheepdog is stoic and there are only subtle hints when things aren't right with her... Bless 'em...

The vet said that it was not uncommon for dogs that have never been spade and never had puppies....I had never heard of it..so after I recover the expense of these visits I am getting my other lab spade...Dont want to go through this again...

Yes, there can be quite a lot of problems with non-breeding lady dogs that aren't neutered. Our Dal kept having phantom pregnancies and the vet told us this increased her risk of uterine problems so we had them both done... I think they are happier for it - esp. the Sheepdog. The Dal's just even more obsessed with food than she was before... :sad2:

Kristin and Ed-

I e-mailed Carol today to check on more pricing, as well as the dining rotation and linking. She said this:

All of the reservations within our "group" will be linked for dining. As we get closer, 60 days from sailing, we will compile a list of families within the group who want to sit at their own table however, the group will be in the same area of the restaurant for the duration of the cruise.

So we'll be linked, then anyone who isn't in the Carol group can link with us as well. Is this the same info she told you two?

That should be fun... :thumbsup2

:cat: :cat: :dog: :dog2: :dogdance: :lmao: :lmao:

Add a persian kitten and a tabby cat and we have a *#@&ing zoo as my dh says!!

That's a lot of fur babies for sure!!!! I'd love another puppy - but I'm regularly outvoted... Ah well, one day when they're not looking... ;)

Hello :wave2:

Long time no check in, been really busy. Zane and I went to Dallas yesterday for my eye exam appointment I had to reschedule and today we were going to go to the Doodlebops concert with my best friend and her family. Well I am awaken by Zane about 3:00 AM  not good :confused3 He has the flu so we skipped the concert and came home early. :sad2: Hope everything is ok with everyone. I will probably never been able to get all caught up so if I missed anything important let me know!

Tonya

Ed...I did see where Caitlin is sick too, hope she gets to feeling better :wizard:

Hi Tonya! Seems like everyone's little ones are sick at the moment - I'm keeping DS well away from this laptop!!!! :lmao: He's tidying his room at the moment and then getting ready to go out with his sister for lunch and a movie - Cloverfield... :scared1: Too scary looking for me...

You and me both...I have one in about 6 months but that one looks like it will be all up to me and Karen to have fun!:rotfl:

I think we'll do OK, Paula!!! :goodvibes Can't recall if I've asked before but are you staying in DL/LA before or after the cruise???

So I'm all caught up!!!!

Have a great SuperBowl Sunday!!!!!

It's something of a local derby, methinks....

Buffalo Chicken Dip sounds great...My DH and DS love almost anything buffalo chicken...can you give me the recipe?

It is HOT and spicy!!! Yummy! I'll PM you the recipe. It has blue cheese in it, which I normally hate, but it is just so good I eat it anyway.

Good night Abby, I'll try to make my wrong call earlier tonight:rotfl2:

Ed-

That is hilarious that you said this because I almost put in my goodnight message for you not to call me again in the middle of the night! :rotfl2: Hey, no wrong numbers last night but DD woke up with 102.4 fever at 1:45. So if it's not one thing, it's another!!!

Did you have a good time? We've only been to one hockey game so far this year. But our seats were awesome!!! 2nd row behind visitors penalty box. DH, DS and I love going to the games but DD isn't too keen on it yet.

Only the biggest American Football game of the year!! It's more about food, drink and the commercials showing through the game than the game itself though. :rotfl: OK, maybe just for some.

Last night we went to Sam's Club to get some stuff and the checkout girl made a comment about how many people were buying the same stuff as us. DH mentioned that everyone's probably getting ready for the big game, and she said "what game?" :rotfl2: And she told us she loves one of the teams playing after we told her WHO was playing. She must not love them that much.

DH is the one adamant that after our doggie dies that we are done. I just play along with him because I know after we lose our dog, it's going to be much harder on us than DH expects. Last year I did volunteer work at our local animal rescue shelter and they had some pretty amazing dogs there. I want to adopt one of the older (2'ish years old or so) dogs. I have already had to give up cats for the man, I'm not giving up dogs too!! :rotfl:

OMG I don't think I ever could give up dogs!!! When we moved to our first proper home, DH was adamant we couldn't have a dog until one of us didn't work so the moment I gave up nursing, I hunted for a puppy! We chose a male Boxer, Harvey who proved to be a total handful - but such a character... And we've had dogs ever since... :thumbsup2

Morning all.

Worked on the website last night will be emailing it out to you in a few days....

Happy Super Bowl!!!!!!!!!!!

We love hockey! That was my sport growing up so there's a bit of a bias here. We've grown into a soccer family over the years though.

For us it might end up being the Super Bore this year.... We generally aren't fans of NY sports teams and we despise the Pats so it's tough to pick a team to route for this year.

I saw some previews of the commercials - looks like they'll be trying to appeal to the ladies a lot this year (e.g. Derek Jeter, Justin Timberlake...).... will there not be a GoDaddy.com commercial this year?! :rotfl:
