I'm not that sad, cause DH and I just got back from the World a couple of weeks ago. His whole family is planning on going down in July 2006 for appx. 2 weeks. We will have our child by then so it will be extra exciting for us!
I'm having a special Grand gathering! It will be me and DH; our best friends, Tom and Collen; my parents (who have never been); and my grandma (who went last year with a friend on a trip that didn't go too well).
We're renting a villa and going the fourth week of October. We'll be doing MNSSHP and the F&WF. Plus some others surprises that I'm planning.
Trying to plan a Grand Gathering with the entire family. My alterior motive is the opening of the Mt. Everest. Gotta get on that ride. We will be staying at either the Omni, Grande Vista(hopefully) again or maybe another vacation home. That was alot of fun.
I'm going back on April 29 next year and will be in the World on my birthday for the first time. Just to keep me going until then I will be visiting Disneyland for the first time in October
My DW and I are taking my DD4 and DD2 for their very first trip to the Magic Kingdom during the first week of June. I haven't decided between Port Orleans FQ or Coronado Springs yet. Any suggestions?
We are going back in July 2006, I'm not sure where we will be staying. Maybe the Swan/Dolphin will have a great teacher rate. I have not finalized the dates. I will probably do that when I return from August trip.
October 6-14, 2006, for us! We're planning to stay the first two nights at AKL and the remainder at BCV. First time at both places for us. CAN'T WAIT!!!
We have had the "Cruisin' Castaways" DCL cruise booked for almost a year from August 19-26, 2006 with two stops at Castaway Cay, one stop at Costa Maya, and one stop in Cozumel. I just booked August 26-September 1 at WL with the dining plan. Hopefully with three days at Universal afterwards. Gotta love the Front-of-the-Line perk.
FYI: the dining plan per night cost increases in 2006. It will be $37.99 for adults and $10.99 for kids. It is $34.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids in 2005 (unless you got it for free!).
The big IF...
IF we melt when we visit WDW in August after the 14 day repositioning cruise, we will probably reschedule for another time. We are from the Pacific NW and not sure how well we will handle heat and humidity. The big advantage of an August trip is that it is cheap and our kids are not in school yet.
Who knows maybe we will hate cruising all together after being on the Magic for 14 days....(nope, I don't think so either).
