Hi everyone - Been very busy getting ready the past couple days. We leave Friday morning so my last post will be late Thursday or early Friday if I have the chance. Sure can't wait for the cruise . Looking forward to meeting some of you Friday at Beachs and Cream. We have planned this for such a long time can not belive its finally so close. Hey just noticing are we the only kid-less couple on this cruise?

Tinky....we are almost kidless, the DS that is going with us is 17, and we will be lucky to bump into him at dinner!! He is going on the jeep excursion at Coz with DH and Dfriends though

I forced DH to pack today, we are ready to go Can't believe I'm taking so much "stuff". Each trip, I promise myself that I won't overpack next time, but I just can't seem to help it

Can't wait to see you all at dis meets!

Thanks for all the welcomes!! I'm so confused w/using this system. I try to hit post reply and get blank page that says done,when I hit quick reply like now, there is nothing to click on for smilies. I also tried to get into edit signature to add my name and again a blank screen. Any help???

Welcome 1happyfam! Glad you found us! We have 2 DD. The older is 12 and the younger is 9. Check out the tween thread for them. There's still time for them to get to know other kids.

Bairdbeth - Wow! How scary about your brakes. Thank goodness they leaked now and not when you were on the road to Disney.

My older DD has been sick since Thursday so I haven't been able to shop some more. Guess she's saving me money!

I finally decide to think about packing!!
Why do i always overpack?? Is there a packing support group?

I started to get together the clothes for my 10 yr old son.
Well, somehow I end up with too many things, but am always worried that i might need it. I set everything aside in a drawer for now while I'm washing a few new shirts and then I'll try to cut back, but try is the optimal word there.

For myself i did not buy anything new this year. The past few cruises i bought new dresses for formal and semiformal night and since I never have anywhere else to wear them i am not going to let myself buy another one this time. i might try to get to the mall and get a new sun dress or capris once i see what i have. I ordered from cruise crates so i don't have to worry about sunscreen, and detergent and all those little things. I also will be ordering a basket from Shirley for my parents 50th anniversary.
I wish I had an extra room to lay everything out in, but no sooner do i have it on the bed, than the cat is sleeping on it!!

Got our docs yesterday!!!!!

We booked thru Costco and I was checking for the UPS truck too, and sure enough they came in regular mail, bummer. Love that truck.

Well after surviving Senior week with my son, graduation, and now my 8th grader getting home from his 8th grade trip to NYC, guess what I get to do??

Think about our trip for a change and PACK!!!! Halleluia!!!

I got out the luggage today, that was fun. I started my suitcase and I'll do the rest all week long. Next Monday we'll be in Disneyworld!!!!

Yeah! It's working again! I was also having a problem trying to post. I thought it was my new laptop. I went to the tech. boards and saw that I was not the only one having problems. Looks like it's fixed now!

BethA- my cats and dog love to lay all over the clean laundry. I had to hang up all outfits in the closet. Now I need to get everything out and pack it. Guess the cats and dog will have to find their own room

Dd is spending the night with a friend so I am trying to straighten up and pack. My parents are checking on the cats while we are gone, so I have to leave a clean house

OK so it wasnt my computer ineptitude(this time) I am a procrastinator so have not started packing yet but know it will get done. Of course I did shop for everyone else though so the rest of the fam will look great! Hoping to go for me this week,just one or two new shorts and shirts would be great. I looked over the tips for 1st timers thread and got many great ideas!

We are staying at the Beach Club Villas, starting on June 21. We are renting a car from Budget at MCO. We'll turn it at Port Canaveral, then pick it up and return it to MCO on Sunday. We are spending sat. at wdw staying at wilderness lodge( a nice segway to our Yellowstone trip next summer)

We got a great deal from budget by joining their rapid rez program(free)
we never go to wdw without renting a car.

1happyfam-The disboards was having some problems yesterday. There were a few times that I tried to bring up the board and it did the same thing. It came up blank and said done. What, no disboards???
