1happyfam-Do you have the magical express with WDW and is it free?? If the magical express is free from airport to resort, keep that portion and then use a private car company for the resort to port and port to airport.

We're using Art's which is $170 plus tip.

Marie, is that the price Art's quoted you?? I know you have 4 and we have 3 people.

It's finally working! We'll I spent yeaterday going through DD16 clothes and now we need to go to the mall for nice dinner outfits. today I'll tackle DD13 clothes Luckily DS19 is all set!

No, unfortunately no reply to my e-mail even though it does say it is available 24 hours. I guess I'll call on Monday.

You know, I'm an overpacker as well, but I always figure you never know what could happen. And you never know when a girl will change her mind about what to wear!!!

Since we are going to ASMO for 2 nights, I'll pack those clothes plus what we will be wearing for embarkment ( ) for all 3 of us in a separate suitcase so that we don't have to go through the bags and mess everything up.

Gosh my dh and ds would never do that!!!

I know this has been mentioned at least a million times, but remember to pack swim suits in your carry on. I do this on the plane as well, but not for convenience, but because although it would be easy to buy new suits for the guys, I am NOT going bathing suit shopping for me. That's just not the way to start a vacation, trying on bathing suits. Yuck!

I feel your pain. We have 4 more nights of swim lessons and a birthday party on Friday - when am I going to clean We have to leave our house clean as well - we have family coming to water & take care of the Anyone want to come clean


1happyfam - we are flying into Tampa so we are getting a car @ Tampa for 2 days then take it to the port. We have a car from the Port back to Tampa as well. I had them send me the stuff for Magical Express just in case we end up at MCO - you never know

It has been so much fun getting to know people over the last few weeks. I have learned so much about cruising!

I haven't started packing yet. I do have a rather large pile of cruise essentials though. You know, things like glow sticks , duct tape , door decorations , beach shoes

I think I need to do more shopping--just to be sure I have everything I need!

I am so glad to know the boards were having technical difficulties! I was going through smilie withdrawl!!

The thread for the tween group is names June 24 2006 Tween Group. My DD found it on page 2 <gasp> this morning so we had to post immediately!!

Just think, in two weeks we'll be enjoying Castaway Cay

Thanks Bairdbeth, my DD is feeling better now. Luckily she got sick after her finals and before the cruise. Now we just have to keep everyone else healthy!

Won't be able to do much preparation today. Have a birthday party to go to and then we are going to the Arena Bowl. My brother got tickets and asked if we wanted to go. Don't really care about the football game since Vegas is not in it but Third Eye Blind is having a concert after the game so we decided to check it out.

Going to go through my kids clothes tomorrow. I feel so behind when I hear that some have already started packing. I better get moving!

That is me! I am so bad. I have spent so much $$$ it is not even funny. I got a new camera a few days ago, and of course had to have a 2gb card for the cruise I scrapbook, so I take a lot of pictures. I'm nervous about running our of memory. I think all together I have over 4 gb I should be good

I'm ready to start packing. I am putting our stuff into ziplocs though...does anyone know if they will smell funky if I put them in there now? They will spend 2 weeks in plastic

Charla, don't forget they will transfer your pics onto a disc for you at shutters. Just make sure the pics are transferred and you don't have a blank disc. We did this last time and it was fine.

Did anyone else hear that CM got 2 feet of rain with the tropical storm that just went through???

I didn't hear about the rain at CM, but I was reading about the bugs I am going to make sure that bug stuff goes on before we hit the beach!

She quoted me $115 from Saratoga to Port Canaveral for four people. But she was very new, didn't even know what Saratoga was. I wonder if she got it right. It is one way, we are using Disney buses to go back to the airport on July 1.

Just had to check in today and say hello! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. DH has 4 more days of work and then its off to Disney.
I finished all my door signs today, it was a lot of fun making them. We have all our shopping done, but havent decided if we are doing anything for pirate night. Maybe we'll pick something up to wear at DTD's new POTC store.

All that rain and then the bugs do concern me. How do you wear bug spray at the beach? The the idea that you can't donate blood after being to CM made me wonder why DCL stops there.
I am thinking of cancelling the D&I tour of the ruins and staying onboard-am I nuts?

I did some shopping for myself today-now have to get suitcases out and TRY to limit how much I'm taking.

*Lori, thanks for the info on the magic express. I checked and although it's not called Magic Express if you book the resort through the cruise line, it is free from MCO to WDW. So i'm leaving that leg w/ Disney, booking on my own to PC so we can arrive early and staying w/Disny($30 per) for the return to MCO.

*OK, so I have determined I love my clothes, tried bathing suits on today and not pretty. At least w/ clothes I look thin and fit!

Tinky624--Good idea regarding the POTC store! Where is the that? Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember hearing something about that. Is it a separate store or is it a remodeled part of the World of Disney store?

We'e decided to let the 4x4 excursion go and we're headed ot Maj. Beach with you in Costa Maya!! DD, wants to hang with friends. And it sounds like there is plenty to do for the grown ups too!!

All of your talk of packing is making me realize that I need to get a lot more organized! We are getting so close!!
