Marie-I won't tell! Funny, but we were just talking about our ds with a family friend who is 6', and ds is actually taller than he is!!! He just keeps growing!

I got out the suitcases today. We will be gone 10 days and I'm trying to pack lite but bottom line...I'm doin laundry. Anything to not have to bring an extra suitcase.

Has anyone used Magical Express before? We are staying at SSR the week before. It will work for our arrival. We are thinking about taking it back to the airport on Saturday, then taking a shuttle to the port. I know they have buses from the resort, but a lot of them don't leave until after lunch.

I haven't done Magical Express...the last time we were @ Disney we did Mears. We have a rental car scheduled but I asked for ME just in case our plans change.

Some friends that came from Texas in October are DVC members and they used Magical Express to BWV and back to Airport for the first time. They loved the conveinence and didn't need to wait to be picked up in both instances. Hope that helps.

We're getting a 1 day hopper, here's our plan.
AK in the morning to do the new coaster and animals (for DH-Bill)
Epcot for the family
BC at 4 for the dis meet
Back to Epcot depending on time, maybe a dip in the hotel pool
MK after dinner

Hmmm, Now you have me thinking, maybe we should get a 1 day park hopper. I would love to do some things at the different parks. As much as I love MK, I can't imagine just doing MK and not enjoying some of the other parks. Is anyone else park hopping for just 1 day?

We will probably park hop for 1 day. It looks like we may fly into MCO late Thurs and have all day friday for WDW.

Is anyone planning to use the Rainforest? I have not used it on past cruises because I have asthma and I worry about the steam and aromatherapy. But I have read so many wonderful things about it. I am considering getting a day pass and giving it a try. If you buy a day pass, can you use it any time that day?

Marie-I would call a private company instead of all the extra travel back to the airport and then to the port. We're using Art's shuttle for this. They use nice vans for this portion. It will be $200 (with tip) for resort to port and port to airport. We are being picked up at 9 at the resort since I want an early boarding card.

Although the bus is convenient, one thing to consider is your luggage. Will they let you put it on and take it off the bus yourself. I would be worried it wouldn't end up with on 2 legs.

We have used other private companies in the past, but Art's was the cheapest and the last time they were great.

Also, I've done the rainforest. I can see your concern with asthma. The outside room has the nice heated tile lounges. There aren't any aroma's in the main room.

There are 3 rooms with various aromas and strengths. I could only go in the 1st one to the right. The aromas in the other ones were overwhelming. I could spend an hour in the 1st one. It has a nice amount of seating, take an extra towel to sit on because the seat get hot!!!

You can also just visit on the 1st day to check it out to see if you could handle it.

I'm not sure if I'm doing it this time. I felt like I had to get my money's worth and go every day. I was having way too much fun! I did enjoy it once I got my tussie up and moving!

Charla-your MIL is 4'10", I feel like a giant! Actually the shortest girl in our band group is probably 4'8 or 9 and the tallest boy is at least 7'4" and he's only a Sophomore!! I think it would be cute if they dated!

BB-I didn't know one could be done shopping-EVER!! I think I'm pretty close with only odd and ends to find. It will keep me busy once school's out. 6 more days for that!

Charla and Vija-I had originally started out with a hotel in Cocoa Beach since that is what we did last time. I got jealous of those talking about WDW and promptly followed the crowd! At first we weren't going to do the parks at all. Then I convinced dh to go to TL, and then I heard about the late nights from Jill and suggested to DH to go to Mk. He wasn't into that one of course that is the one with the really late night! He wanted to go to Epcot, which we all do like but I wanted the late night!!!

So finally episode of this story, It is about $35 more each for a hopper to the parks for a day (that doesn't include DQ or water parks). I'm going to wait until the day we arrive to purchase in case there is suppose to be bad weather.

On Thursday, we are just going to resort hop to check out all the other resorts which is something we've always wanted to do.

It doesn't look like DCL is doing anything special for the DD cruises like pins or shirts. It seems we're more excited than they are.

It sounds like we will have a special backdrop for the embarkment picture that has 2x CC or something like that. So maybe there will be a few more things related as their cruise goes on.

I sooo wish that I could say I have finished my shopping. Actually, I'm good for dinner clothes, I just need some more shorts -- but finding shorts is one thing --- finding shorts that I like on me, a whole other matter!
Then there is shopping for my DS (13) -- never thought a BOY would be so picky about what he would wear!

My mom is traveling with me and I think she is already packed, she is so excited!

Lorie - I didn't know you could try out the rainforset room. Have you looked at 3 day no exp tickets? You can get a 3 day hopper no exp ticket for $77/day for ages 10+ (it is 66.33/day for 3-9). Spend about $70 more and you can get 7 day no exp hoppers. Dreams Unlimited shows the gate price to be $103+ tax for 10+

It doesn't look like DCL is doing anything special for the DD cruises like pins or shirts. It seems we're more excited than they are.
