Hi Everybody,

I hate to say this, but we won't be joining you guys on the cruise afterall. Olivia came down with the stomach flu this morning and has been throwing up all day long. We just got back from Urgent Care and they recommended against going. We have a note from the doctor. She's just listless and hasn't been able to keep any food down all day.

Has anyone gone through an insurance claim before? We purchased our trip from Costco.

I hope that you all have fun! If any of you want a better Cat 11 room, 6131 is now free!

Oh Phyillis! I am so sorry to hear about Olivia. I hope she feels better soon. The stomach flu is miserable. Like Stacey said, maybe it has all worked out for the best. Can you rebook for later this summer? Maybe you will BOTH be feeling better?

Thank you for all your well wishes. Rest will be good for us right now. Olivia hasn't eaten anything in the last 24 hours. She's only been drinking apple juice/pedialyte and nibbled on maybe 10 cheerios or so.

If Grumpymom1 is not too busy today, she may be able to stop by and pick up the FE gifts that I had for everybody.

Thank you for all your well wishes. Rest will be good for us right now. Olivia hasn't eaten anything in the last 24 hours. She's only been drinking apple juice/pedialyte and nibbled on maybe 10 cheerios or so.

If Grumpymom1 is not too busy today, she may be able to stop by and pick up the FE gifts that I had for everybody.

We are in San Pedro and the weather is BEAUTIFUL. Had breakfast at Hof's Hut in Long Beach, went to DH's favorite comic book store, went to Ikea, then the Ports Of Call Village. Stopped at Rite Aide for stuff I forgot (shampoo!) and DH got new flip flops at Big Five. Cannot wait until tomorrow.

It was the 6:30 show on Monday. It took a ton of planning.... Ron Pearson really helped the most - as he told Disney he would do it.

DS8 asked me on Friday if we could stay onboard for the next cruise!!

Then he asked if we had to wait 3 years for the next cruse.

When I told DH all of this, he asked, "How would you get on the inaugural cruise for one of the new ships?"

It was great meeting so many of you. I hope you all had a great cruise. I wish the weather had been better Thanks to everyone for such the wonderful FE gifts. You all are so creative and fun! You gave me some great ideas for our next cruise!

I don't think that they have invented a word yet to express how great of a time we had on the cruise and the two days prior at DL.

With the exception of the weather the only way to improve the trip would have involved Kiera Knightly and a motorcycle.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to those that gave us FE gifts even though we did not participate. I did not get the chance to introduce myself and my family and I wish I had.

I am at work right now so when I get home I plan on posting more and including pictures.

Just wanted to stop in and say hello to you all. I had a chance to talk to Castle4us at palo, We were unable to make the sail away party because our boys did not transition well ....in fact the first day and half were VERY tough... I also wanted to thank all of you for your extreme kindness .... As you all know I posted a note on our cabin door letting you all know that in my haste to get everyone packed I neglected to pack our newly purchased fish extender and all of our fish extender gifts, we were touched so much that you all decided to give to us without getting any in return...that is something you do not find in today's world.

On a side note we had such a great time we re-booked on board for Sept 26 2009 for the Eastern Caribbean.

Well, I can't wait to read all of your trip reports, I will be starting ours later tomorrow. Wish you all well, and look forward to seeing post from you all in the near future. Big

We were in that show and I knew who it was when he said he was an "astronaut trainer". That was really nice. Good thing she said yes.

Virgil, we were sitting behind you on Saturday in the tequila and margarita tasting and I was going to say hi but you're beeper went off and you and your wife left before I had the chance.

It was a wonderful cruise except for the cool, overcast weather on the sea days.

I thought about bringing moon pies, but I was afraid they would just be crumbs by the time I got them to the ship. So, I just went with the postcards. I might have to figure out how to pack some for the next cruise.

On a side note we had such a great time we re-booked on board for Sept 26 2009 for the Eastern Caribbean.

We rebooked for 2009 also. Right now we got Eastern Caribbean for July 4, 2009, but are pretty sure we will actually push it out to 2010 when that schedule comes out. I knew before we got on the ship that I wanted to check into rebooking, but I did not think there was any way my husband would go for it. I guess he had a great time too, since it did not require any arm twisting to convince him.

I am so sorry that you guys had to cancel. I hope you and Olivia are feeling better now. Thank you for the FE gift you sent with Grumpymom. I thought you did a good job on them.
