06/08/08 Magic And Mickey To Mexico!!!

Even though I'm working on getting stuff done every eveing, my 'To Do' list keeps getting longer...

Mine does too! I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I just finished packaging up all the FE Gifts. DH nearly flipped when he saw the amount of space they are going to consume in the suitcase. Turns out I have six FE gifts. Somehow I over planned. Oh, well. I'll just get the 1st one out on Sunday. It might come in handy anyway.
Next on the agenda is to figure out my delivery route. Didn't someone mention that they had it mapped out? Are you willing to share?

My DH hasn't seen the amount of space yet, but he will flip out when he does.
I did post the route I'm going to use. I don't have time right now to go through posts. I've got my list packed away. If I get done early tonight, I will look through posts. Gotta go get kids up now for last day of school!

We leave tomorrow from Ft Lauderdale at 1:30 pm and arrive to Disneyland on my birthday. Two days at disney and then the cruise. Everyone have safe journeys!! Mary

Oh my gosh, listening to weather forecast for us. We're due to fly out early tomorrow a.m. Severe weather (large hail, strong winds and tornadoes) is forecasted from 9 p.m. tonight to 11 a.m. tomorrow. Why oh why didn't we fly out today? The weather people on the news are revved up like I haven't seen them in a long time. If storm follows anticipated path, we may not be sleeping much tonight-our storm shelter is the downstairs bathroom. I think I'll put sleeping bags, weather radio and little TV in there before I go to bed tonight. DH is a firefighter (he has day job but does this on call in evening and weekends), so he'll go on standby at the firestation. We are going to be tired people for traveling! I hope we can make it to the airport and that we aren't TOO delayed. Think I'll pack an extra book! We don't have any plans for Friday, so at least if we're really delayed, we won't miss out on anything. Being delayed could be the least of my worries. (I'm trying to stay upbeat here. Is it working?! I'm terrified of tornadoes.) O.K. my paranoid ramble is done. Thanks for listening!

Uuggggh..morning sickness... I mean ALL DAY sickness has reared its ugly head. I've been nauseous quite a bit and just completely exhausted. I made two FE gifts and I had to stop after that. I just don't have the energy to make or go out and buy anymore. Sorry if I let anybody down.

I am hoping that the seas aren't too rough and that I don't get motion sickness on top of morning sickness.

We are, however looking forward to meeting all of you on Sunday! I still have to do laundry and pack. Seems like I'm lagging compared to all of you out there!

I still have to make my magnetic door signs. Oh boy...my list just keeps growing! See you all on Sunday!

Sorry you are feeling so lousy. No worries about FE. It's supposed to be fun, not stressful! Have you tried Ginger candy (the chewy kind)? They really work wonders for a queasy stomach and they are safe for the baby. Hope you feel better.

Does anyone know which nights are formal, semi formal and pirate night? Also do people wear their pirate costumes to dinner or just the pirate party later that evening?

Monday is formal night. Thursday is Pirate night. Friday (13th) is semi-formal night. Definitely wear your costume to dinner. In fact, put it on before dinner and go around and have some photos taken with the Pirate characters.

The special show in Animators will be on Wednesday for the 6:00 & 8:00 seatings. It will be on Sunday night for the 6:15 and 8:15 seatings, and will be on Tuesday night for the 6:30 and 8:30 seatings.

It looks as though Tropical night will be on Tuesday night.

And they'll have the "Til We Meet Again" show on Saturday.

My clothes are packed, and if that bag is under 50# I'll be amazed.
I packed the bag that has our snorkel gear, the FE stuff, and other miscellaneous items....it weighs 46#.

Tomorrow we'll get Jared's bag packed and maybe rearrange some stuff. I get my nails done at 1:00 and after that, I'm doing nothing but waiting til we leave the house Saturday morning. Nothing but watch the clock and get antsy!

Hi Stace! I'm not stalking your I promise - I just wanted to ask if you can confirm when the safety drill takes place. We are trying to schedule a DIS-meet of our own on the July 20-27th cruise but I think that stinking safety drill meet might be getting in the way or our DIS meet. Thank you - I'm sure you have lots of things to worry about and I'd appreciate it you can confirm this. Thanks so much - hope you have an AWESOME time and save some fun for our cruise!

OK, so I went to pack my first bag (its getting kind of old and already had one seam blow) but when I put my snorkel stuff in, it looked really, really small... So I went and got a new bigger bag! Now I just worry if its going to weigh too much. Dont have a scale to test it out, and havnt packed this much in a long time.

Its getting so close!!!
