Hi everyone! I have a 'courtesy hold' on a room for this sailing & have to decide by tonight whether or not to pay for it/book it.

I've never booked a cruise this close to the sailing date. Can someone here tell me what the excursions are looking like at this point? Are they pretty filled up?

I wish I could be of more help here. We are behind the 8 ball as well on excursions - we just booked our cruise yesterday! I do know that there appears to be plenty of people booking excursions away from DCL. If you know which ones you are interested in, I would give DCL a call - they should be able to tell you if it is available or not Hope you can join us!

Welcome to the group! I hope you will be joining us. I just checked the excursions and it looks like almost everything is wide open. Only 2 in Cabo (sports fishing & luxury sailing) and one in Mazatlan (Mexican Family Ranch) are sold out. Palo & the spa are no longer available online, but i bet if you're flexible, you can book something once we are on board. Let us know if you decide to come. This is a pretty nice bunch of people and we are all getting pretty excited about the trip.

Wow! personalized FE gifts! That's a lot of work. Kind of sounds like fun though! My DD is all about the princesses and the fairies, I love Tink, and my DH is more of a Duck man.

I am getting so excited about the whole FE thing that I actually called a Sub and took the day off (don't tell that I played hooky) to go out and search for my FE gifts . It was a fun day. Can't wait to pass them out!

Welcome to the group! I hope you will be joining us. I just checked the excursions and it looks like almost everything is wide open. Only 2 in Cabo (sports fishing & luxury sailing) and one in Mazatlan (Mexican Family Ranch) are sold out. Palo & the spa are no longer available online, but i bet if you're flexible, you can book something once we are on board. Let us know if you decide to come. This is a pretty nice bunch of people and we are all getting pretty excited about the trip.

Thanks so much! I appreciate the information - just what I was looking for. I was worried that we'd be out of luck as far as the popular excursions go - I'm surprised! My 7 year old DD would love to do the Dolphin Kids in Cabo but I assumed that one would be sold out early. I might try booking it on my own - save myself some money (I think I can get it for $79/kid instead of $109) - and it's commissionable too! I don't usually do that or advocate it - I'm a believer in arranging excursions through the cruiseline. We'll see... As soon as my hubby gets home from work (he was busy with jury duty ALL DAY), we'll discuss and make a decision one way or the other!

My boys are all about Cars, Pirates, Monsters & the Mouse (us too!!).

Wow is this starting to sound like a creative group! I have not a creative bone in me!! I am so stressed about getting an FE, but think that I came up with a couple of good ideas based on some I have seen. My Mom is arriving tomorrow from NY and she is very crafty so I hope she can help.

Well... count us in! We just booked today - YAY!!

We are Dagny, Jeff, Jordyn (DD17, actually turning 17 on the boat) and Zachary (DS8). Jeff and I will be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary while on board as well. Woot!

I am so excited and yet have so much to plan last minute!!

We are in Stateroom 2605 at the moment. I am hoping we can pay for an upgrade at the port (wishful thinking I am sure).

If anyone has any recommendations about where to stay the night before, I would be all ears. While I am very familiar with Orlando, I am a lost puppy on the West Coast.

Add us to the FE list if you can, I think my DS would really get into it!!!
