Okay...I'm thinking.....I know a real strain...... Do we want to meet after the life boat drill, or try to do it before?
I think it's too rushed (IMO) to do it before. And since we'll be going up for sail-away after the drill, it just seems to make more sense.
The drill is at 4:00 isn't it? Why am I having trouble remembering this stuff?

Anyway....I propose that we all meet on Deck 10 ......overlooking the Goofy pool......immediately after the life boat drill.....Starboard side, so that we'll be on the side near the water and not the terminal.....

All those in favor say "aye".....other ideas are very welcome!!


As far as recognizing eachother.....the largest size sign I can make on my computer is only 8.5 x 11.......can anyone make a larger sign?
I guess I could go get poster board, but my letters are always crooked and I am not too talented. I will do it though, if no one else wants to and if everyone promises not to make fun of my like of artistic abilities!!

For some reason, I rented a private Super Shuttle to take us to our hotel at the port (day before the cruise) and there's only going to be my son and I. Willing to share!!

Look in her April 10th post for a princess mini kit, April 2nd for some quotes and March 29th for a mouse ears kit. The freebies are usually towards the bottom of the posts. The latest post has some new "we can fly" quick pages. I have not downloaded them yet, but they look cute.

DOG BOARDING!!!!!! I really, really hope they still have space!! I totally forgot!

This is the first time we have had to board our pets. My parents live nearby and usually take care of them for us. They are going on the cruise with us though, so I had to come up with something else. I have three labs and a cat. DH about died when I told him how much it was going to cost.

I say "AYE"! to the plan. I can't wait to put faces to the names.

My DH has access to a color printer that will do something close to poster size. I volunteer his services to make us a sign if you want. Let me know if you want him to do this.

With all this long term planning, I am beginning to get worried about what I will do with myself after this trip is over...oh, I know...plan another trip!
DH is going to kill me!

I've been getting free stuff from her blog too and then bought some of her kits from Scrap Matters. She posts over on the scrapbooking board and there are quite a few digi scrappers there.

Can someone fill me in on whether or not we're going to try and meet up before the cruise? I'd love to go through the million pages, but I just don't have time. Also, are we doing any gift exchanges? That was fun last time I went.

I am up for it let me know. What about the fish extender thing? I have never done it but I have read briefly about it on different threads. I think my kids would get a kick out of it.

I hadn't thought about Fish Extender gifts, but with this small a group, it would be easy to do. We'd need to post our room numbers along with our other info.

From the times we've done it before, the gifts are usually small enough to not be a problem to pack & take home, as inexpensive as we can find, something related to either cruising, or the Mexican Riviera, or Disney. Or even just something you think people would enjoy....key chains, note pads, candy.....

We'd need to decide if we want to post our room numbers here, or choose one person to PM them to, and that person can let everyone else know.
I don't mind posting our room number on here, I really doubt anyone but us even reads this thread.

I can't ever get the labels to line up correctly on my printer. Otherwise, I'd have tried it myself, so that's great if you can.

Here are two examples of the Fish Extenders. Mine is the shorter, wider blue one. We hang them outside our doors for other cruisers in our group to leave us notes (I keep a note pad and pencil in mine) or small gifts.

You can see the notepad sticking out of the pocket with the little yellow fish on it.

Most people, including me, have found their FE's on eBay. Generally if you do a search for "diaper holder" or "pocket diaper stacker/holder"....or something along those lines, you'll find quite a few...especially Disney.


I just went to eBay and did better with a search for "Pocket wall/door organizer"

Our door signs are all done, spread on the dining table to dry. I just need to trim some of them, and apply magnets to the backs of ones that I printed on photo paper. I did some on the magnet sheets, but others I wanted the pics on them to be clearer, so that called for the photo paper.

One less thing to do.....other than try to wait patiently!!!
