Hey GrumpyMom1, if it's not too late we'd like to get name tags as well. We plan on attending the meet after the lifeboat drill on Deck 10. :)

me - Jeff
DW - Susan
DD - Katy

Hi Jeff - I've already included your family in the name tags.

Welcome back Stace!! I am sure everyting was wonderful..

Has anyone else checked out the weather? It seems like we are in for scattered thunderstroms the entire time.. every port.. surely that can't be right? :confused3 I guess I will be packnig some jeans and raincoats :(

On accuweather it shows partly cloudy but warm in Mazatlan and PV and hot and sunny in Cabo.

I hope accuweather is more on the money then the weather channel. Just in case I will pack the raincoat

Still haven't had a chance to go back and read the pages I missed. I will tonight, for sure.

I have a question and am debating about bringing my video camera.....since it's just Jared and I...no hubby to haul my junk....
Is anyone bringing a video camera?? Let me know, I have a question for you please.

Yesterday I was going into the pet store to get more doggie food and I started to trip on the curb and a nice gentleman tried to help me by grabbing me to stop me, well instead he only grabbed my arm and something happened and it pulled/ripped something in my upper arm area...and BOY am I in pain right now, so this morning at 10am I have a drs apt at Kaiser..

Hope you're o.k.

Oh boy, thanks for posting the pic, does that look great or what?:smokin:

Stacey, I'm on the fence about cam corder. I always haul it on vacations and use it very little. But then I worry if I didn't have it then I might want it...:rolleyes1

:cool1: I am officially done with work til next fall. Now, to get some trip prep in!

I am thinking about bringing our video camera on the cruise. I will be happy to help, what did you need?? Alana

We got a nice surprise today...checking out our reservation on the DCL site I noticed we'd been upgraded from a Cat. 12 to a Cat. 9 outside stateroom (2062). :cool1:

Thank you DCL. :worship:

Hi GrumpyMom! Can you please add me and my DD9 (Bailey)? Thank you so much!!! :D

Yes, what is your first name (sorry if I missed it).

I can't believe it's only 4 more days! I have been a little concerned because the baby has been running a fever since Saturday and it was very high on Sunday and Monday. We took her to the Dr. and they said it was just a virus. It finally seems to be gone this morning but as of last night she was still not eating and drinking as much as normal. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will be completely back to normal by Sunday.

So now I need to finish packing and get some stuff done around the house. If only this thing called work didn't get in the way.

My name is Rena. I can't believe I forgot that! lol

I hope your baby is okay!

I am so excited. We fly out of Tucson tomorrow night. We have two night and the Grand Californian. We are going to spend one day at DL and one day at CA. We are going to try to squeeze in a few hours at one of the parks on Sunday morning before we head off to the ship.

I have my pillow cases and photo mats. I have movie candy and glow sticks. I am bringing my copy of the passporter and I even have a typed out list of rules that my daughter must follow on the cruise.

Sitting at work has entered the tourture stage as I stare at the clock and will the hands to move faster.

I look forward to meeting all of you at the meet and greet after the lifeboat drill.

Kevin

I have been in the tourture stage all week. I have been up late the last several nights trying to get stuff together. Between lack of sleep and just not wanting to be at work right now, it has been a long week already. :surfweb:

I assume the photo mats are for autographs. What are you using for a firm writing surface? A clip board? I have a lot of scrapbooking supplies and I usually take a 5x7 album and refill pages. But I was thinking a clip board and photo mats would take up less room, but I was not sure if the clip would get in the way of the characters trying to write.

Have a safe trip. Wish I were leaving tomorrow instead of Saturday. :(

What I did was pick up two picture frames with a wide mat border that were designed for signing. One mat is off-white and the other is black. I have regular sharpies for the off-white one and a selection of metalic markers for the black one. I took advantage of graduation and wedding season to pick out the frames with the mats already in them. I guess having your wedding guests or classmates sign a mat boarder is common. The mat board material is a stiff cardboard. I am going to carry it onto the plane and the ship in a flatened Fed Ex box.

Question for prior crusers. Since I have to carry the mat boards on myself should I also have the markers with me and just drop them off at the guest services desk right away when I board, or will it be too busy and I should wait until later.

I also read a related tip. I am putting in a bag of hersey miniatures with the mat board and pillow cases for the CM that are doing the signing.

I just finished packaging up all the FE Gifts. DH nearly flipped when he saw the amount of space they are going to consume in the suitcase. Turns out I have six FE gifts. Somehow I over planned. Oh, well. I'll just get the 1st one out on Sunday. It might come in handy anyway.
Next on the agenda is to figure out my delivery route. Didn't someone mention that they had it mapped out? Are you willing to share?:teeth:

Now for the packing. The trick will be to find all of the little things I have been buying over the past few weeks and getting them into the suitcase. They are in about a million different places and I just hope I don't forget something vital.

I am pooped just thinking about it.

I can't believe it is only 3 days away!

See ya all on Sunday!

Sheila, is it too late for name tags? We are Mary, Tim, Patrick and Ryan. If it is too late no problem. No pressure. We leave tomorrow from Ft Lauderdale at 1:30 pm and arrive to Disneyland on my birthday. Two days at disney and then the cruise. Everyone have safe journeys!! Mary

Uuggggh..morning sickness... I mean ALL DAY sickness has reared its ugly head. I've been nauseous quite a bit and just completely exhausted. I made two FE gifts and I had to stop after that. I just don't have the energy to make or go out and buy anymore. Sorry if I let anybody down. :(

I am hoping that the seas aren't too rough and that I don't get motion sickness on top of morning sickness.

We are, however looking forward to meeting all of you on Sunday! :) I still have to do laundry and pack. Seems like I'm lagging compared to all of you out there!

I still have to make my magnetic door signs. Oh boy...my list just keeps growing! See you all on Sunday!

Phyllis
