WOW... we are up to 75 bracelets that will be running loose onboard!

I chatted with the manufacturer more and it sounds like we should go with the solid lime green ones (based on the group preference) and for those who wanted glow ones for the kids, we can add those into the order at no extra cost for the youth size. This will be the least cost out of pocket for all of us.
We can also have a maximum of 25 characters on the bracelet. If we go with something like “DIS Magic May 9, 2009”, that would be 21 characters and would give us some of the pertinent info like date, ship, and DIS affiliation.
I am A-OK putting something else on the bracelet if the crew all agrees and we can meet the 25 character limit. I believe they also offer a Disney Font which should go nicely with our theme.

There is a small group I have not received a response from yet and will send another PM to that group in a few days to follow up. Please do not feel like you need to purchase bracelets, I just want to make sure I am not missing anyone who may like to join in. I will also post your DIS names below in case you do not check the Private Messages on here:

The font that seemed the most "disney" related is called Waltograph and a link to a sample of the Waltograph font is below.

As for bracelet color, the green that is offered appears to be a bit more on the "normal" green shade, then the lime green shade. Is anyone opposed to that???
Those who wanted glow ones for their kids, the glow bracelets appear to be a bit closer to the lime green shade.
If we wanted to get closer to lime green for the adult bracelets, I believe we would have to do the green/yellow swirl one in the picture I posted a little while back.

Feel free to take a peek again at the first bracelet picture I posted to see if you are ok with the green shade in the picture. If I dont hear many opposing views, I will assume that is the color to go with. Majority will rule

Our vote is the all caps, because the letters will be pretty small. I wonder if the swirl will make the letters hard to read, or if that matters.

Are we going to do the green bracelet with yellow writing? That makes it look a little more lime from the picture. I am also concerned that the swirl bracelet may be hard to read.

I like the idea of all caps and the wording is fine.

Hi all - I've had my Livestrong bracelets for years - I don't think the upper and lower will be a problem...in fact, coming from a guy who's fought clients on this for years, sometimes it helps your eyes read the lettering, if you know what I mean. I vote upper/lower, especially after seeing the example. Very cool, Don, thanks.

Yep, we are at 77 braceletes right now (I think) and that would put us at $1.26 per bracelet for the green adults and green or glow-green for the youth. If we go to 100 or more braceletes then we can drop to $.99 per bracelet.

I located this picture that shows some sample text on the bracelets. Just thought everyone would like to get an idea of what they will look like up close with text- though we may have a different font then those shown.
Don's picture does a good idea of showing us the other font.

You guys totally rock. If it's possible, I'm in for a double order - I have a feeling my daughters may well snap their bracelets at some point and I want them to have these as mementos of their trip...in fact, I may look for a way to add them into our fish extender for future cruises!

I know this is off topic but I have a question...
My FIL, myself & my DW want to go on the Discover Scuba excursion in St. Maarten but my MIL, DD & DS don't or cannot go due to age so what can be done in those types of situations? I don't want to leave them alone while we go and I don't know if they can go along with us but not dive...so has anyone ever faced a situation like this? We either take them or we have to choose something else to do. I appreciate any responses.
