Welcome Aboard MaryJPixie! Is this your first time sailing with Disney?

Yes and I am so excited!!!!!!!!!
I have stayed in WDW so many times I lost count....so this will be a whole new thing to us!!!:cheer2:

You may likely find that you really enjoy this change in Disney Vacations. We have also been to WDW way too many times to count and figured we would give the cruise a try a few years back. We have trouble now deciding which we enjoy better, WDW or DCL!

You will find a wealth of info on the DIS boards to help you get ready!

That sounds excellent!!!!! They have so many great activities for the kids....:yay:

To say the least! We have found that our kids enjoy spending more time in the clubs doing the activities then the care to spend with us (or so it seems), which isn’t so bad in the evening when trying to wind down from some excursions or long day at the pool with the kiddies onboard the ship! They also enjoy the kids club area off the ship at Castaway Cay, which allows for some time to escape to the adult-only beach for a bit before picking them back up. For the most part, our two older children wanted to eat all the dinners with the kids club and not us, so we end up with a mostly adult-only dinner seating.

I was chatting with my MIL yesterday and we have decided that we will make an effort to secure a dinner reservation at Palo one evening for us three adults. Figured it would be a nice getway from the typical stuff.

Hope everyone is doing well!
We chatted over the past couple of days and have decided WDW this Thanksgiving is a no-go. Instead, we will end up in WDW for two nights after our big cruise.

I will bw joining all of you on the Magic 5/9/2009. I am so excited. I have never cruised before and am now addicted to reading these boards to learn as much as I can. I will be travelling with my DH, DD8, DD5 and DS3. They too are excited to go on the Mickey Boat. Hope to meet people here before we go.:flower3:

:welcome: Aboard

glad to have you sailing with us.

As Caro said above, we will be "Bringing the Magic Back Home" in less than 4 weeks.

Hi all!

We are sailing with you, it will be 2 adults and a 1 year old. We have cruised DCL 4 times prior (twice on the Magic and twice on the Wonder). It has been several years since we have been on DCL and we are eagerly looking forward to it. This will be the first time with our DD.

If anyone has any tips on cruising with a little one (will be just over 12 months at sailing) please let us know.

All the best,
