04/27/11 DCL's WONDERful LA-VANCOUVER REPO ON THE WAY TO ALAKSA

Back to page 1!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Everyone! Glad to see some of you popping back in to say hi! :cool1: We are almost at the 12 mo countdown!!!! Then the real planning can begin.

Hi Everyone

Disneyland was fun - as always - but crowded. Cloudy all day, but it didn't rain until the trip home. :)

Ken P.

Glad you had a great time! Must be some Spring Break going on?

Please don't tell Mickey but Mom and I (& two unnamed persons :rolleyes1) are cheating on Mickey....we needed a "Dream" fix...so we are cruising on the Carnival Dream May 1 -8. Not sure what a cruise without Mickey will be like but the price was too good to pass up.

I'm sure you'll have a great time!:goodvibes
Good Morning All. :goodvibes It's an early Spring here in NJ. Warm weather has opened the lilacs and doawood blossoms early. They are beautiful.

I've updated the first page of our thread with various links based upon the great information you've all been posting. The totals, numbers, etc. are also updated.

It's been a long winter filled with SNOW and various other activities for our household, and I've been away from the boards for a while.

GEJO UPDATE: Joe and I will be taking an early getaway cruise in 2 weeks on the Disney WONDER, and will check out the ongoing changes to Castaway Cay. It will feel good to escape for a while plus earn our Platinum status for the Castaway Club. :woohoo:

To those who will be "Dreaming" a bit early... Have Fun! Wish we were joining you. You will be in our thoughts. :cloud9:

Can't wait to hear all about it! :thumbsup2

Muahhhh ha ha ha I'm Baaaaack! :maleficen
My FB friends know what I've been up to recently... TAXES!!! :scared1:
Now that's done thank goodness and the new grandbaby is HERE....
:cloud9:

princess:Lyla Olivia 4/12/2010 8 lb 14oz 21 3/4 inches.

So Erin is on maternity leave and that leaves ME free to post to my hearts content. We're going to take a little R & R cruise while she's off before I tackle watching BOTH grand babies!!!
it will be a new and different experience..... that's all I'm saying! :rolleyes1

Beautiful baby! Congrats! So Exciting. I've been there - it is so fun to be watching two grandbabies - or even 3 :goodvibes - but challenging and tiring too! Enjoy the time -two of mine moved away, and the other goes to pre-school now. I'm glad for more time to work, and more rest, but I miss them so much!:sad2:

Good Morning Cruisers!

I have been MIA, but I am not caught up!

Georgie - it must be pretty there with daffodils and dogwoods! Here, the grass is starting to green up - no buds on trees yet, no bulbs! We did see some daffodils last weekend in Denver, trees there are also starting to green up.

Have a great week all!

Hi everyone! Time to move us back up to page 1.

Last two days of the week! Why is it that I seem to be looking forward to the weekend more and more all the time?

Ken it comes with age....

Yesterday I went to our AAA office to get some currency for our Europe Trip and the AAA Travel Agent had a pretty darn groovy DCL Totem Pole announcing the Alaska Cruises. Will try and get a pic today when I pick up the payola.

That was the House Party gift for the DCL House Party in January. I thought it was very cute and might bring it along on the repo. Or not since it is breakable.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Really ugly here today. We had high winds and snow last night - cannot report how high the winds were because the wind gauge is frozen But it sure looks like winter out there! It is still blowing and snowing!

Have a great week all!

Have fun! Wish we could have been on the same cruise. Castaway Cay is coming along nicely. Pelican Plunge is open. The private cabanas are coming along and the stingray excursion moved down to the boat beach, so it is close to the ship now.

As Castaway Club members you will get the stingray education thing on Saturday and your choice or shrimp, fruit or alcohol in your room on Saturday also. No CC get together on the 3 night, only on the 4 night. The gift is the same. No change.

Yep, I've got one of those too, it was from the DCL House Party.

That is one adorable grandbaby, congratulations! :goodvibes

How did this thread end up on page 2 when we will be setting sail one year from today?!? :confused3

It's cold and rainy here but I will be California dreaming today thinking of our cruise! :hippie:

Have a great day!

Home from the EBTA and VERY happy to celebrate the ONE YEAR mark for this cruise! :woohoo:

One year to pay some bills and save some money and lose some weight!

Linda! It was sooo good hearing your voice! :goodvibes I wish we could have taken the same cruise too. We planned this very last minute. It will be strange not seeing anyone we know on board. Thanks for the updates on CC. We will take come pictures.

Hi everyone, just got back from EBTA and had a great time! We are joining you on the repo and the 1st alaska trip. Yeah! We had such a wonderful time meeting new friends (Jackie and Monica) that we had to change from the Pannama to these two cruises.
We are looking forward to meeting more new friends on these cruises.
Cheers, Jennifer and Dennis

--I think there are about a dozen (or two) sailing on the LA-Vancouver REPO + Inaugural Alaska, that were also on the 4/10/10 EB T/A. That's great, because you will have less names to learn, but just as many to remember!
