04/27/11 DCL's WONDERful LA-VANCOUVER REPO ON THE WAY TO ALAKSA

That's why everone wears name tags. Look for me, mine will say Her Royal High Nass.

Hi everyone, just got back from EBTA and had a great time! We are joining you on the repo and the 1st alaska trip. Yeah! We had such a wonderful time meeting new friends (Jackie and Monica) that we had to change from the Pannama to these two cruises.
We are looking forward to meeting more new friends on these cruises.
Cheers, Jennifer and Dennis

WELCOME! We will get you listed on the cruise Roster! We wanted to do one of the TAs but so far... no go!

Please send me a PM with your cabin#, dining rotation, City + State (if you want to) and if you're thinking of a DL stay prior to the cruise. Thanks!

Welcome Jennifer and David, and welcome back all you EBTA cruisers! I'm so excited that we are less than a year away!

It's F R I D A Y!!!

We will be heading down to WDW tomorrow and then off to the Disney Wonder for a short get away cruise. We can't wait! We will say hello to the ship for you and tell the crew to get ready for us next year!

Have fun! We have snow here.

Enjoy your relaxing days on the cruise. Please tell Zoe at Guest Services (she's from Hong Kong) that I send hugs to her through you! She is adorable and I just love her! Her sister works on the Magic and I will be seeing her in June!

Hello from San Francisco. Hmm, I haven't checked this thread in oh, I dunno, since a few weeks after I booked the cruise. Was that page 10? :)

We are visiting SF...we visit all the time. Beautiful weather this weekend, let's hope for the same a year from now. Haven't seen a bit of fog! And I hear mid-70s this weekend, depending on your zip code. :) So true...was warm at the hotel but freezing at the museum, always dress in layers here.

Guess I have some reading to do. I am accepting donations to pay off my suite...any takers? ;)

Good Morning Cruisers!

Welcome Jennifer and Dennis!

Yes, we all wear nametags that Ken makes for us so we can remember everyones name!:lmao:

Snow here also! It will be gone by mid-day.

Have a great week all!

Will I have to share the closet with the doggies?
Will I still be able to order concierge room service?

I'm sure you can! While you're in the closest can you let me know if there are robes in there? I can't remember if they supply robes in the suites...been a while since I was in one.

Does anyone know? Helps one look somewhat presentable when room service arrives. :)

Had a *super great* visit to SF...even though I am super sick :( and at death's door. We fly home in about an hour. Perfect weather...we'll see if we can repeat the weather at the end of the month when we return. Visited many museums (we belong to several here)...hoping to visit the Disney Family Museum when we return later this month.

It will be cool to go under the GG bridge. Water was way rough out there (it's always rough) the other day. Maybe we'll walk across it next time...haven't done that in a while.

TTFN

:thumbsup2HEY Bob,

I have a shore excursion planed for us in San Fran......:thumbsup2

And anyone else who wishes to Join us....:thumbsup2

Hint, for you geographically challenged California is on the West Coast.

I think I will call it the Norman Paperman Experience....

Think DCL will have an excursion to the Disney Family Museum for us? :confused3

I believe they DO provide or offer robes for concierge. Actually ... on the EB TA, our stateroom host asked us if we would lke robes. Never had that question posed to us before - we were deck 7 w/verandah.

Yes, and slippers too with Mickey on them!

Hi Jackie! Long time no see. Surely they will have a Disney Museum excursion for us, don't you think?

Does anyone know which pier the cruise ships dock at?

We were in San Francisco for Spring Break in 2009. We had a blast and it is one of the reasons we are looking forward to this cruise so much. Here is a link to my TR if anyone is interested. http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=31173399&postcount=1

Have a great day cruisers!

We are docking at Pier 35 which is adjacent to Pier 39 (aka tourist trap :)).

I am taking our travel companions on our own excursion...they want to go to Muir Woods and then wherever else. I've spent more time in SF this year than I have FL. Granted, I haven't driven in the city in years, so that will be an adventure.

I'm thinking about a private excursion as well. I hope it works out.

You're buying a hotel?

I'm hoping to meet my friend since 4th grade there for one of the days - she is in the area. I want to see China Town, the Japanese Garden, ride a trolley, go to Ghiradelli - do I sound like a tourist? Never been to SF. I would like to just explore on our own, but I'm not sure about the transportation and how close the pier is to where we want to go:confused3
