Good Afternoon Cruisers!

We are taking a short break for lunch and to get out of the heat! We were at MK for early opening this morning - learned they changed what is open because of the rehab of Space Mtn - so we got even more done than usual with Splash mtn and Big Thunder Mtn. open instead. Yesterday, for Scott's birthday, we did all 4 parks, all major rides! It was a long and hot day! We ended back at MK for Wishes and Spectromagic.

I've been MIA in WDW and now at home sick... maybe with the flu (sigh)

I've been keeping a roster with Dis names... Bob of the Alaskan thread has the official roster with pictures of everyone so you can actually see who you are chatting with here on the boards.

I hope everyone has seen the presentation about the new Disney Dream! First sailing is January 26, 2011! It will be a 4 night cruise.

Gold and Platinum Castaway Club Members may book on November 2nd. Silver may book on the 9th. I've heard there is a $400 pp deposit due which will be non-refundable!!! YIKES! I wonder if that also holds DCL to finishing the Dream on time! The Inagural sailing of the Magic was postponed 3 times! We had to keep changing airplane reservations.

The webcast wouldn't load for some reason - kept saying 2 hrs 40 min until it started, which wasn't true. I am looking at the pics - the Dream looks amazing! I hope someone puts the broadcast on U-Tube or something!

Thanks! I really do feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone! Thanks to everyone for cheering us on. We FINISHED the 13K in 2 hours and 9 minutes! Never thought we would get to the finish line. Perhaps I'm paying for that now!

I did get the webcast to load, but, if there were any questions afterwards, I couldn't get it. It's supposed to be available for replay tomorrow.

I REALLY really would like to do the Jan. 26th cruise on the Dream, but... if we choose that one, we would have to drop wither Alaska or the Repo.

I think the virtual portholes is a great idea. We are going to trying and get on the first cruise. If we do, it's going to be a busy year. Guess I better start saving up vacation time now.

I wonder if Alex and Carolyn are going to change their stateroom number? Think they would want to be on a higher floor........

I'm shooting for an outside stateroom for the inaugural then doing a back to back and move to an virtual inside for the January 30th. Then can't do any more vacation time until April 27th so I have enought saves up to go to Alaska!

I know! We're doing a Hawaii cruise and pre-cruise stay in Oct 2010 - doing a cruise every 3 months is a bit much for us! I love, love, love that ship. It seems better suited for a longer cruise, but maybe they have to book the ports so far in advance that they needed to do it that way. Wouldn't it have been cool if OUR cruise was on the Dream?

Does anyone know the DVC points for cat 7 on this cruise and the 4 night cat 9A Dream? 2 adults. I really don't want to call DVC.

Also does anyone know if all of you sold out the cat 6A on this cruise or is Disney holding back this cat? We are in cat 7 and would really like cat 6 and I don't want a guarantee.
