04/10/2011 Mexican Riviera Cruise

Hi,
Night 2 is Formal night
Pirate night is the 4th night
Semiformal is the 6th

Thanks for this info! I was just wondering if there were details available yet :)

I'll PM you with our cabin info for the FE list soon - just realized that I haven't reached the 10 post minimum yet (I've been a lurker for way too long! ;) )

Just post twice on this thread saying hi!

I changed my Palo reservations from Day 4 to Day 5 so it wasn't on Pirate day. We are doing late seating this time - will be interesting with all the kids - and I was thinking about leaving dinner early that night to get a spot on the dance floor!

Paid in full as of yesterday and now I have to wait until Tuesday 1/25 to make any reservations. I hope there are some spots left at PALO. :scared1:

Thanks calmom!

Can't remember if I booked Palo on the 4th or 5th day, but looks like the site is down for "maintenance" so I can't check. Bummer! Hopefully I picked wisely :)

We also have late seating this trip and I was thinking the exact same thing! We've always been up above and while it was still fun, didn't feel like we were quite as involved as we would be down on the dance floor.

one last post and I'll PM you our info. Thanks again for setting this up for us Calmom!

I don't see Casiland on the Roll Call. I am I just blind? :confused3

Without Casiland I have a count of 14 adults and 14 kids. :cutie:

Thanks for catching that! For some reason Casiland didn't copy over. Just added her!

Exactly! I thought it would be fun to have a spot on the dance floor, and then maybe also a little spot to sit down. With a family of 7, we sometimes need two spots! I'm excited to be back on DCL - it has been 3 years! We just watched some videos of our May 08 Panama Canal cruise. Our youngest son was 2 at the time. My what 3 years can do! Of course now we have a little girl, so always have someone that can't be in the clubs!

We are playing with the idea of upgrading...I know we shouldn't as we don't have tons of money around and really want to go to Hawaii for Christmas, but we stayed in the Roy Suite once and it was just so awesome. Right now we have two connecting 5C cabins on deck 6. For the panama canal, we had two connecting cat. 9s. I'm sure we will be out and about a lot, but again with a family of 7, sometimes there is always one or two that want to go to the room to rest (who am I kidding - I am the one that likes to rest!)

Anyone else want to join the FE fun??? Those that are signed up, is there any particular day you would like??

We are very excited too! It hasn't been as long for us between cruises, but when we cruised last January my daughter had just turned 1, so we spent a lot of time in our stateroom. This time my husband's looking forward to not being in bed by 8:30 every night! :)

We looked at upgrading as well, but decided it was a bit too extravagant just for the two of us. Maybe next time when the whole family goes. I'm SO jealous that you stayed in the Roy suite! How awesome :)

No real preference for us either, although as a newbie, I'll say not the first day, just so I can kind of see how it's done first

It looks changed on my online reservation. Mindy - can you go horseback riding in Cabo? I have heard of people doing it there.

I was just wondering about the change of ports, I was just changing our Palo reservation since seeing we were supposed to go on the formal night. Thanks for posting that by the way, I am always hesitant to book dinner without knowing what is going on that night and what restaurant we will be in.

I wish we were staying in Puerto Vallarta 2 days instead of Cabo, but oh well we will just enjoy our time on the ship.

My kids are so excited to be going, I need to start a countdown chain just so my 6 yr old will stop asking exactly how many days til we go on Mickey's boat.

CALMOM, I don't care what day we do the FE, the only day we plan on doing excursions is in Puerto Vallarta, so probably not that day.

So glad to see that everyone is posting more often now, it helps to build the excitement!
:yay:

My itinerary hasn't changed on the website :confused3

I guess it's not that big of a deal, but I was looking forward to seeing three different cities. I'm sure we will find plenty to do in Cabo if we end up there for two days.

Just counting down to Tuesday when I can make my reservations for PALO :goodvibes

I've been sick for the past couple days so haven't been online, but last night I was having crazy dreams about missing the onboard time in Mazatlan and being stuck there! :rotfl2: Went online this morning just to check that everything was "ok" and noticed that the itinerary on the site isn't updated but on the Cruise Plans page, it shows us being in Cabo for day 5 and day 6. The excursion I booked in Mazatlan is also showing up as a an excursion in Cabo for day 5.

Hi there, I am new to the group and new to Disney Cruise Line, but we are booked on the April 10th sailing and very excited about our upcoming trip! Happy to know there are others out there getting excited for the cruise too! Although this is our first Disney cruise, we have been to the Mexican Riviera twice on other cruise lines (NCL and Royal). Cruising with me are my hubby and 4 y.o. daughter (I bet there was a propper Disney way to say it... sorry!) I just wanted to say hello and I look forward to seeing you all on board the Wonder!:)

Woohoo, it is so nice to meet you! Welcome to our group, I always love meeting new people. This will be my first cruise altogether so I am very excited! I have never been to the Mexican Riviera so I would be interested to know what activities you have done, especially with Cabo since we have no clue what we want to do there!!!! :goodvibes

Does anyone know when I can log in and make my reservations? My official day is tomorrow, but can I log in at midnight tonight and do it???? :confused3

TIA for any help.
