The Fish extender is something you hang outside your door and each day you get and give treats to fellow friends. Search the boards and you can learn more about it. I think it will be fun.

Fish Extenders can also be a great way to exercise. On the 2007 Turkey week cruise, we had 40 kids to accomodate in the group on 6 different decks fore and aft.

Sounds like fun - the fish thingy (wonderful adjective for an English professor, eh?) At present, I teach two low-level freshmen English classes and two AVID classes (I am also the AVID coordinator at our high school.) Mike, my hubby, teaches law, government & U.S. History at the high school level. That pays the bills. To pay for our expensive addiction (Disney Cruising), I'm at adjunct Professor at a local college.
Now to ask, what do you teach and where are you located? Looking forward to talking with you all. Deb

When we bought our fish extender on ebay, I think I typed in hanging disney organizer. I hope that helps!! Please make sure that you don't choose one that is too wide for the area. The dimensions are in the fish extender thread on the main dcl disboard page.

I am making my fish extenders, I just got a new serger that will be perfect for it, but they do have them on e-bay look under the item number 160190084827, not sure who is selling them, it does not look that bad, but there are better ideas on the fish extender link. You could make it yourself I am sure, teachers have to be creative......
As for me, I did teach Kindergarten for 17 years, but this year got moved to 2nd, BIG change, but I have some of my kindergarten students so it is not that bad.
Let me know if you need pointers on the extender, I can help.
Oh BTW....we are in Raleigh NC

Hello it looks like everything is good for us to join you on this sailing. We are very excited to be cruising again especially when so many of our CM friends are on board. IOf course nothing is definite until the Mouse has my money and I have a confirmation in my hand.

and we will be joined by my parents.

It will be a few days before I am holding the confirmation with category in my hand.

I have had the opportunity to read through the posts. I am posting a picture of the Fish Extender I made for our cruise last October. I have the directions for anyone that needs them.

As far as tendering or docking that is not released until about a month before. There is a website to get the list from. I have it saved and can post it soon.

For the person looking for the information this is a link to a post called Everything you ever wanted to know.....if you copy and paste the "manual" it is a 60 page Word Document full of great DCL stuff. Here is the website that posts the schedule. Like I said earlier it will not be until the end of February. Also, last March we were scheduled to dock and the while we were leaving St. Maarten we were told there was a change and we were Tendering in at Charlotte Amalia. I did not enjoy the tendering process in St. Thomas compared to how quixk and smooth it is in Grand Cayman.
