Hey Guys, did I tell you DD lost a tooth on the cruise and got a visit from Tinkerbell?

My DD lost a tooth on the very last night also! I would've loved to have had the chance for Tinkerbell to visit...I think she had been pulling it all week prematurely in hopes of losing it on the cruise! LOL!

Rani...I have to say that I agree with a lot of your comments, and it's hard to deal with people that weren't even there making judgements. I did weaken and post a comment over there about the correlation people are making about tragedies in life and missing CC. I don't think tragedies in life and missing a port can be compared! It's about not meeting expectations and the disappointments. And, yes, being there, I agree it was so much more than just "missing a port". Hang tough!! I admire your courage to speak out!!

I am not going to post the video for now. I spent half an hour on the phone with Jay Rasulo (Disney Pres) assistant and she said they may be very interested in seeing the video so as to improve guest relations. I'm waiting to hear if they want it and out of respect for the company, don't want to post it if they're going to use to to make things better.

thanks for your comments. and thanks tink and norm and merriwind and feiste and all you great folks....the funny thing is that I ALSO think that the people throwing tantrums were handling it in maybe not the most productive way. it feels like the people on the other thread just want someone to bash....

I'll just stick around here....and occasionally read over there.....I really only want to think about the wonderful time I had.....reading some of those comments makes me

Oh, poor Johnna. I'm so sorry I bashed March. I often stick my size seven in my mouth unintentionally. It's not me being nasty - just too free with my comments. You're absolutely correct though - we did go into March before and it was fine. What some people on this sail might not know is that on our St. Martin day it rained before we got there. An island gal told us we missed the storm they had. We had a great time in St. Martin. I'll post them on my site soon. I really do want to get back on the Western so I'll keep my hopes on a 2/21/2009 sail.

I need a nap if I'm going to stay up to watch.... NOTHING - NO DISNEY DREAMS, NO COMEDIANS, NO PREMEAR SHOWING.

I was surprised to hear about your air conditioning troubles as I didn't hear you mention it at all during the week. Kind of funny that I spent the week with you, didn't hear you mention a significant issue like no A/C and the others over there have you pegged as an instigator.

I also find it funny how many people are posting over there from our cruise, and they are people that I have never heard of not to mention from!

Tim,Kim and Travis, and who ever else was at bingo when they gave the jackpot away,I remember Tim pointing him out one day, They are the couple who started the thread about being bummed about not docking at CC, I just find it funny that's all. And to think there cruise was just about paid back to them when they won.

Hey Norm great job on the game when you got home. Tell Josh not to lose that pin. I'm certain that it's blessed with good luck. Don't forget that I was also wearing that pin when I won at Bingo, helped Grace throw a highly successful tea party in the promenade lounge, and stumped Christian in the Kevin Bacon game. Lot's of luck is associated with the pin.

As I told you I hadn't played the Wii since mid January, so I couldn't remember my high score. When I got home I checked and it was better than I thought, but it is still only 234. We played last night and my skill level is 1111. This also happens to be my birthdate, so I do not plan on playing the Wii again anytime soon, as that would cause my magical number to change!

To be honest I was not only shocked to win the tournament, but I was equally impressed that I did not fall flat on my rear in front of everyone!

Bob's home, and he's going to tell me how we can all post photos...

Rani, I agree, posting here is so fun now that I've met everyone. I just read through the last several pages on that other thread--wow. Usually me posting is the death knell for a thread, so I figured it was dead by now. No worries, we all know the difference between sad and mad! You've hung in there!

Kim, I continue to eat like I'm on the cruise, so I've got to reel it in like you are. Another week of eating non-stop and my pants won't fit.

Norm, I think that big screen just messed you up! Pat and Mike were both fearing you heading into that night, although Mike thought Jen was a real threat.

We are all fighting colds. DD went off to school stuffed up with long-acting Sudafed in her. Pat's throat hurts and he took vitamin C before heading off to Vegas for the week. I've been freezing yesterday and today. I just took my WDW fleece off for the first time, but it's going back on soon.

I miss the cruise and howdying all of you, but it sure is great to have this board! Here's the only photo I've got onto my computer so far...

This is Ron here. I just had to tell everyone how much I enjoyed meeting all of you and what a great time I had. If it makes anyone feel better, I gained 7 lbs. while on board. My DOD today was slimfast. No more late night buffets for me.

My throat still hurts from laughing at Alfred & Seymore. The entertainment on this cruise was over the top. James, Michelle, and Madison thanks for being such great tablemates. I'm going to miss hearing "yall" every night at dinner. Everyone, it was great seeing familiar faces when strolling around. Kind of like a small town almost. I'm glad I'm not the only one who suffers from cruise withdrawals. I will miss all of you and hope that we can do it again some day. Til we meet again, Ron

i'm totally in cruise withdrawl --- still wishing that Rosselli was cutting up the kids' foods and bringing us marachino cherries by the jar-ful! It was great having buds on the cruise. It was so surprising how many times we ran into the same people! It was like we had been there for a long time......btw -- where's figment fan?

I don't find this thread boring either, obviously, but some on the DIS aren't happy if they're not arguing. That type will flock to the other thread about this cruise, but they'll stay away from here!

I didn't know you ladies karaoked on the cruise! I LOVE to sing. I had wanted to try karaoke, but felt too much motion to drink. And like you, I would have needed several drinks to get up and sing anywhere but in my car. Next time...

most unfortunately for me -- i was not drinking either when I was singing or when I was watching last night --- it might have been better both times if I was....... but I had so much fun! and my DS11 -- was a hoot!
