Yes, we all went on the Western together last February & had the best vacation! Actually both trips were a gift from my mother in law...she was an amazing person! We are really going to miss her on this trip

That's great! John and I go on a vacation every other year with his dad and sister. Unfortunately, we are totally different people, so it does not always work out real well.

Hey all,

I've been gone for only two days, and there are 11 new pages added to the thread!!! I'm so far back that I'm working on this post in a parallel window, and will work on this as I catch up reading the pages. Here we go:

1. We seem to have quite a few new folks joining on, and as I have lost track of who I may or may not have welcomed, I will just say "Welcome All!" Also, with so many recent additions, I have again lost track of our total count. Oh well.

2. Just wanted to let you all know a few things: (1) my kids received their postcard from Mickey and friends informing us that they are looking forward to sailing with us; (2) our TA told us today our supposed flight schedule, which doesn't look too bad, except that we depart from Orlando on our return trip at 12:00 PM, so we may have to hurry in getting off the ship; but (3) we still do not know our stateroom yet, and have now been told not to expect anything until 14 days out, so keep your countdown going for us Rani.

3. I see that Rani has challenged us to reach 100 pages. Does that explain the 11 page jump over the last two days?

4. Uh oh, a comment from Micday suggests that my DW participated in a chat with you guys two nights ago. That can't be good for me. Wonder why she didn't mention it? Whatever that lying wench said about me, it's not true! (unless it was something good, then I want you to know what an honest angel she is)

5. Regarding door signs, I have ours and Feiste's designed, though I have yet to laminate and magnetize them, which will likely be a project for this weekend. Also, I am thinking of making some magnetic pink flamingos (around here, people sometimes put pink flamingos out in front of each other's house as a joke, does that happen anywhere else?) and roaming gnomes (like the one that Travelocity gnome is based on) to be passed around the ship.

6. Micday, shy? Give me a break.

7. Sounds like I need mail Feiste's door signs out to her a little early and add velcro to the backs so she can use them on her tent.

8. Figmant Fan and Micday, in my opinion, Disney RUINED Journey into Imagination with the remodel a few years ago, and the re-remodel more recently didn't make it much better, either.

9. Figment Fan... mouth shut, body language and attitude... I completely understand. Doesn't matter whether you are talking about the DD7 or the DW (just kidding Honey, I love you, I'm sorry, and can I have a blanket for the couch?)

10. All right, I'm all caught up, not much in the last few pages for me to comment on, especially given my desire to go to bed (the real bed, the couch won't be until tomorrow when DW has had a chance to read the thread).

Rani I think your post of 23 days scared everyone...and we are all dragging out the suitcases..LOL!!!!!
3 weeks from today ( after school) we will be driving to the airport..to fly out on Friday (our airport is about a 2 1/2 hour drive)

Can't BELIEVE that the date is finally getting so close!!!!

I work for Aldi and I'm the one who receives in the product so I have to be there during receiving hours. It works for our family because I get off so early I can still do school things with DD.

Can we all just go now and split the hotel bill until it's time to cruise !

Do you all take your kids to the formal and semi-formal? Are they kid-appropriate? I have to get Ryan a suit anyway but am not sure if he'd be too bored during these evenings. We'd probably only do one or the other anyway.

Our Daughter is so excited about formal night. But then she's a 8 year old girl that when in the mood likes to dress up. I had to "help" her pick a dress or you guys wouldv'e thought she was getting married. I also want the pictures so poor hubby is bring the Tux.

crazy thing I packed today - static guard!

Got the garment bag out of the basement and will try on the formal outfit tonight to see the lowest heel i can get away with -- or should I say the one that takes the least room?

Formals: Everyone except for my DH is looking forward to dressing up. DH doesn't like getting dressed up for anything. But he kids enjoy how they look in the nice clothes and I like to wear my $20 formal outfit --- so it's all good. Our kids will be at every dinner with us --

150 is going to REQUIRE me to induce insomnia to post night and day.....DH is happier that I found this board and post here at night rather than internet shopping and leaving receipts for him on the corkboard in the morning....

Come on UP and OVER............ NO TAXES. SHHHHHHH, I went shopping yesterday. 4 bags later, I returned. ALL FOR MEEEEEEE.......

No I got a really good deal, everything was 75-90% if not more off. I actually got two shirts that were orginally $28 each for $1.54. Yes for a buck and a half plus four pennies.

I know I'm panicing..... With the new people, There is so much going on in the thread, I can not keep up and do not know who is who. I had just got it all down to a science, knew everyone and the color of underwear they all were bringing and now it is like I am a person who went away to college and came back and so many new things..... Maybe I should just get back to work......
