03/01/2008 Eastern!!

Okay, that was weird. I had most of a reply done and lost it. Anyway, sorry, but not a NASCAR fan. I have some knowledge of the sport. Enough to be dangerous. After all, I am originally from Indiana, home of the REAL 500. I was so proud to see them run the cars on ethanol last year. Ethanol was the first fuel for the original horseless carriages.
I am a former swimmer (long ago in the land of leisure suits and mirror balls) and not good at most above water sports. I have no hand/eye coordination. I do have enough to go through a drive-through liquor store, pay and grab the liquid refressments!

Tink - Are you telling me this porthole is the same size as the one in my room?

Brenda - You can have all the turkey and meat you want -- I won't touch a bit of it....where's the tofu table?

Dessert -- I could be ensconsed in chocolate -- I wanted to take the chocolate whipped tub in Hershey, but for $250 -- I can whip up some in my own supertub....

Cocktails -- I am not a big drinker. I don't like the taste of the alcohol. Bartenders HATE me because I order 20 drinks through the night and take one sip of each for the taste. Hence, I don't see myself ordering any here.

Poundage -- I could gain or lose 5 pounds a day just looking at food -- I might have to found the ELASTIC LADIES CLUB. Craig can eat a family sized bag of Doritoes and have no evidence of it!

I am going to post something neat in the next immediate post......:wizard:

I'm alsmost caught up!!!!!

So here is my POD for Tuesday(since I wasn't around yesterday, another porthole picture just for you Rani. One of my all time favorite photos. This one was taken on our 1st cruise 4 years ago. DD Audrey (then 6)sitting in front of the porthole in the room on deck two. I think that deck one has the duel smaller porthole.

porthole.jpg

By the way the pirate porthole pic was taken on deck three by (I think) the Rockin D's Wave Bar.

oh, your from Tony Stewart's home state, that hubby's favorite driver.

Just so you don't get the wrong ideal of me, I haven't really drank in a long time, since college but I'm open to a really good run drink !

DD Grace (then 3) on our first cruise 4 years ago sound asleep in the Theatre one evenning. Boy, was she blown away by that show!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey look there's that candy in the drink holder.

Jennifer

P.S. After this night my kids wore PJ's to the shows everynight.

Jennifer,
I liked that age - when they would fall asleep, with their mouth shut and no body language attitude. OR posting while I walked away from the computer for a minute.
MicDay, I am willing to learn about NASCAR, so when your DH gets bored, he can become a teacher.
As to drinking, take two martini's and call me in the morning. It's at least a good start.

We're in for trouble when you and Mike are on the board at the same time.:rotfl:

Loving this beautiful Michigan day that we are having too!

John,

You better hope my husband does not read the above post, you might jump ship ! James is a HUGE NASCAR fan but then we do live in the heart of it all. He grew up helping Richard Petty wax his camero, lived in the same town as Dale Earnhardt.

DD is age 8, she is so sweet and loving. Loves to cuddle and give hugs. Then SHE changes in a instant to a "if you so much as look, touch, and talk to me" monster I wonder if she's possesed !

I've got one for you Norm. This is from a thread on the main board. Apparently both ships were in a port together the same day b/c the Magic had to miss CC due to Tropical Storm Noel. Instead the ships got to say "hi" to each other:

Dosen't get any better than being on vacation somewhere tropical with a Yummy tropical drink in hand...I AGREE!!!!
Like you we are NOT a big drinker..but do enjoy a drink or two (or more... daily!!!!) while on vacation:beach: :drinking1

Oops. Should have noted that the Carnival ship comment was concerning the youtube link. I'm a little spacy. - thought it was a prerequisite to being an astronaut. Boy was I wrong.

Hello everyone. I figured I would help us to get to page 80 :thumbsup2

Brenda, I called and requested my Server today. I have no idea if "Stipe" is on the ship or not, but I figured it was worth the try. He was terrific and my kids loved him. He taught them magic tricks :wizard:

Do you have early or late seating???

We ended up with late seating because we booked so late. We were really disappointed at first, but I'm actually looking forward to not rushing to get showered & dressed for dinner. Are you early seating?
