For those thinking of doing the Princess 5k, they've added a 10k on Saturday so the 5k will probably be Friday (if they move it all they are doing for January). I'm doing the glass slipper challenge- which is the 10k and the 1/2.

Thanks for posting this. I'm going to have to do some more research. 9 1/2 months away and I'm already anxious about time constraints for the 1/2. Hopefully I can keep with the spirit and just do it! So many mixed feelings about what I want to do at this point.

I saw that! That's got to be awesome. Since I've never done anything like this (and I have much less time to train for the 5k now that I've had surgery), I'm going to stick with the 5K.

Though, if they move it to Friday, that may be better for me (at least) ... that way I don't have to worry about over-exhurting myself at the parks the day before.

Okay, so, when running ... do you keep a little bag on you to hold cell phone or anything?

We were at my in-laws for mother's day and they were asking what trips we have coming up. When I said we were doing this cruise they got all excited and asked if they could come. Our mothers are friends and one thing led to another, and now both set of parents are coming with us.

Hello everyone my wife and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversary with a couple days at Disney World then the cruise then back to Disney World. With this being our first cruise ever we have learned there is so much to learn. Any pointers we would appreciate. My wife has gotten excited about a new Disney "thing" the fish extender and is planning ours. I see others planning the princess half marathon I wanted to do that race but we were worried about the time. We will be using the disney bus to take us to Port Canaveral since we will be returning to Disney. What time do those busses run and do they run multiple? We look forward to talking with everyone about this trip and making a few friends along the way.

Hi we are joining you on the cruise! Yep-pee! We are new to Disney cruise line so we would love recommendations! We are a family of 4. We have two kiddos. My son will be 6 and my daughter 3 when we cruise. We are also bringing three nannies also known as grandparents with us! We are so excited!

Congratulations on the anniversary! What a lovely way to spend it! If you and your wife would like to be put on the list that we have on the first page, please let me know Expecially if you would like to sign up for the FE.
I'm not sure when the busses run, but me and my husband will also be taking the bus transportation from resort to the port. I always thought there was only 1 or 2 busses and they left at specific times based on the cruise departure.

I think you'll love the Disney Cruise Line! DH and I fell in love with it on our first cruise last year The only recommendation I can think of right now is that if you may entertain another Disney cruise in the future, plan money in your budget to book a cruise onboard. You get 10% discount (before taxes) on your future cruise plus onboard credit (depending on the length of your cruise). Also, I would sign up for being a Castaway member after your first cruise so that if you do go on one again, you would get the member perks.

Your kids are at the perfect age to be in wonder over the cruise, I'm so excited for you!

You're also more than welcome to sign up for our 'cruise roster' on the front page of this thread. You could also sign up for the Fish Extender and possibly a meetup if you'd like too

Kris- my parents and in-law will be joining the FE as well. I need to get the their room info. I know were' all adjoining but not sure which numbers. they are already getting excited and have a few ideas.

Also, looks like the Princess 5k is on Friday now. I wear a sparkleskirt which has fabulous pockets and I keep my phone in the one on my waist.

Hello everyone. This will be the first ever cruise for me, DW, DD7, DS4 and DD8mo and we'll be in a concierge cabin on deck 12.

DW has a conference at WDW from Feb 21-23 so we'll be spending a couple of days in the parks prior to departure.
