02/11 - MK

I never thought about posting trip reports before. Last time I was at MK was in February, it was a day trip driving from Tampa. We got a good start, made great time, and had NO problem with traffic. We took the ferry over to MK from the TTC. Once in the gates we booked it to Liberty Square and walked to Spash Mtn. wait time was 20 minutes...not bad! After Splash Mtn. we went right into BTMRR, again, 20 minutes. not bad. After that we hit Haunted Mansion, again, 20 minutes...not bad!! After that we totally bypassed Fantasyland and headed to Tomorrowland. Got a fastpass for Space Mtn. and then did Alien Encounter and played in the arcade. Rode Space Mtn. and then got a fastpass for Buzz Lightyear. After realizing our fastpass was for an hour, and the wait for Buzz was 45 minutes, we figured, what the heck. So we got into the standby line for Buzz and did that once and had a blast!!!! Then we got out of that, rode the TTA, and then got into the fastpass line for Buzz and used our fastpass. We then doubled back to Adventureland and ate at Pirate y Perico. Rode the Jungle Cruise and Pirates, then went back and rode Spash Mtn. again. It was getting late, so we hopped the train over to Mickey-land. Got our picture taken with Mickey (yay!), walked through Minnie's house, and wanted to meet more characters, but the line was just taking forever to move, so we left. Rode Space Mtn. one more time and then slowly made our way out of the park.

The best part of the day: meeting Mickey, riding Splash Mtn, BTMRR, and HM with a low wait time. seeing these acrobat guys in Adventureland...they were amazing!!!
Low part of the day: swatting bugs at the smoking area right next to the Grand Prix Raceway.

Must be nice to be able to drive to WDW for just a day! We plan months in advance but we do make it 3 times a year! Thanks for sharing!
