Aww, Sherri! We were on a waiting list for a different room and got bumped up! We are now 10558 But I'm sure we'll see plenty of each other! Us Marylander's have to stick together, ha ha! Cant wait! 20 daysssss! Yikes, not enough time for all the things I wanna do beforehand!

Awww, unfortunately I'm pretty sure yesterday 9/10 was the last day to join the Fish Extender groups. I believe Kristie has now made the official final FE form on our group Facebook page. But there are still group events (like a Stingray trip) and our first group meet on board @ 3pm in the D-Lounge on first (boarding) day to participate in! I also think some are planning other meets with things that interest them (i.e. Tropicante on Costa Maya or coincidentally meeting at an on board restaurant).

Lots of times on cruises people get the last minute rooms etc and find that most sign up-able things are full, so then the last minute people will band together and do stuff in smaller groups. On another cruise atm, a smaller FE group formed on the side. If you find a few other people who didn't manage to sign up you could message them on FB or something? Cross fingers!

There's still plenty to do! Can't wait for the warm weather and ocean water! Woo! 20 days!!!

how'd you get bumped up?????

actually other than the snoring issue that will cause me to have to nap in the afternoon (i'm going tomorrow to buy different kinds of earplugs to see if one works) i think our room will be big enought but i'm curious how you get bumped up?

Well, I don't know all the details, my Aunt it the uber architect of our whole trip, but I think we were on a waiting list because we wanted veranda and the side of the ship that would face the land most of the journey, which are high demand rooms. I believe when we got our room all the rooms that fit that description were booked, so we were placed on a list in case people cancelled and then we would get that room.

So don't quote me, but I think that's how it went down

You can always waitlist for a higher category and if one opens up and you are next on the list, they will call you to see if you still want it. You would just have to pay the difference then.

We are first time disney cruisers! We are so excited! We are a family of 4 including a 3 year old and a six month old. We are also traveling with my parents and my sisters family which includes kids ages 9, 5 and 3.

If anyone has any tips for cruising with a six month old it would be greatly appreciated. Also, we are wanting to take the 3 year old on an excursion but aren't sure which would be the best. Thinking maybe one of the semi-submarines. Any suggestions?

Maybe a dumb queston but if you have the land side on the way down to the Carribean won't the other side of the ship have the land side on the way back? So would it really matter?

I have never did FE's, but on my last cruise it was fun watching what gifts people had at their door. I am trying to find out more or join a group. I can't find the fb page everyone is talking about. PLEASE HELP!

Not sure if you found the fb page, but it's Disney Fantasy Western Carribean 2-1-14. I had some trouble at first too.

I'm very late to join, but just a shout out to any/all Canadians on this trip!!! Can't wait to escape the ICE!!! This is our 3rd Disney cruise and I'm travelling with a large group of family and friends. Anyone have a boy around 9-10 years old and loves video games (although I'm trying to ban playing on this trip LOL)? I have to find a buddy for my DS. He's upset that this cruise is with his sister's little friends so there's no one his age we are travelling with. Let me know!

but you didnt answer mbme's question - if you look at the top of that fb page (after you are approved to be on it), you will see a place for events and files. look through both of those. while too late for some things, there is a group starting for last minute FE's. and other places to meet up and a spreadsheet of who's from where and doing what. quite helpful. its a fun and very fast paced and addictive group!

Hey Fortebene,

I don't know if you were accepted to FB yet etc, (it's hard to translate DISboard names in FB) but there is a Last Minute Fish Extender/No Guarantee Sign Up, there are a lot of excited folks on that page! That last minute group is just as large as the rest! Not to mention people have mentioned having spare FE's. So I'm sure you'll be able to participate at least a little bit if not a lot! You'll find a sticky quick reference post on the top of the page!
