This is my first post On these boards. We are just confirming everything for this sailing and are really excited! I see there are lots of Canucks going and must add that we are Canucks as well! I can't wait to get final confirmation so I can start planning for it!

Hiya shipmates! I hope everyone is surviving the cold front if you live in cold areas! I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice on fish extenders! This will be the first year that my family and I are partaking in this and I want to make it awesome!

My main questions!!

-Favorite fish extender you received?
-Fish extender you didn't particularly like and didn't bring home?
-Best advice/tip?

this is our first cruise NOT on the Wonder or Magic (well, we've been on 2 carnival and one royal, but my company sent us on those, they dont count LOL). Very excited to see the new ship! We are just us - me and DH, just having turned into our 60s, so no kids with us. soon as we have a grandkid that is old enough (or just have one) we'll do this with them!! We live outside Baltmore, anyone else from there? Having just booked this cruise, i dont know if i'll have time to go through more than 10 pages of this thread - anything i should know? any activities being planned? meet ups or wine tasting or whatever?? thanks@ oh want to add, been on a 3 day, 7 and 15 (panama canal) on the wonder/magic.

anyone know if there's away to make newest message show first?? thanks!

This is definitely a case of different strokes for different folks!! My family will be as far away from the game as possible. Judging from how crowded the decks got on our last cruise/Superbowl combo we might be the only ones running away from it! Though if it was hockey, my husband would be right in the thick of things!

i'm with you - my 'deadskins' are out of it, and even if they weren't i would probably not watch. even if the ravens, which are closer to where i live but i grew up with redskins, get in, i'll probably check the score a few time is all

I see you already joined FB, so most of your questions were probably answered. It's so active I usually miss posts. But there is a group Onboard Mixology Class and group Dolphin swim planned! It's a great deal for both! I also think there is a Remy brunch planned, but I can't say 100% how that one works...it might be just a date & time of when a bunch of the DIS/FB peoples will be going so you can reserve at the same time?

I'm getting so excited! 54 Days!

HI, i asked this on FB but many of them are like me, first time on Fantasy. so i'll ask you here: has anyone actually been on the fantasy with the new app? is it worth carying around your cell (and wave)phone? is it displayed nicely and easy to read to make it worthwhile? or maybe just use at night or morning and leave in room? any thoughts?

This "new functionality" of the app is so new that, unless we have a FB member that that cruises every couple months, I doubt if anyone has used the "new" app. The functionality was only added in like a month ago.

yeah functionality looks great. just wonder if its as good as it looks. i mean i'd hate to try and "navigate" the navigator on my phone screen. hope they made it phone friendly!! thanks

Oooh, good question Sherri! I have never been on a DCL this long and I would love to find an old navigator to see whats up! I'll do some hunting and keep you posted if I find anything, but keep me in the loop if you find out something too!

Hi we are new to the world of Disney cruises and are super excited. It will be myself, husband and 2 daughters Maya (6) and Teagan (5). Any tips, advice or excursions we must do would be greatly appreciated! also, we would love to do the fish extenders-how do we get involved with this? I already ordered my extender Can't wait to meet everyone!
