After the graduation we had our last dinner onboard at Parrot Cay. Since my son’s birthday was within a month of our cruise, he received a birthday cake. This was the first dinner he ate with us as he preferred to eat with is friends in the Oceaneer's lab.

After dinner, Anastasia presented him with a birthday cake. smeared a little whipped cream on his nose and we all sang Happy Birthday to him.

I've really enjoyed reading your trip reports, your pictures are fantastic.

Did you have to request the B'day cake before sailing? DD's birthday is two weeks after our cruise and I would love to surprise/embarrass her with one

we are doing a 3 night cruise May 17th, but we are going to Islands of Adventure the day before the disney cruise sails. Can you give me some more info on the 5.00 pass to ride quicker? Do you purchase this at the park or purchase ahead when you order tickets? thanks, Tammy

We did not request a birthday cake for my son. Our travel agent notified us since we were sailing within a month of my son's birthday, DCL was going to celebrate my son's birthday.

Our server Anastasia asked which night our son was going to join us for dinner so she could have the cake ready to present to him. He only ate dinner with one night because he prefered to eat dinner with his new pals from the Ocaneer's Lab.

You purchase the passes in bundles of 3 or 4. We chose 4. For the price of $20.00 you get 4 passes which gives you access to the express lines. We were able to enjoy the express line for 4 rides and the longest wait we experienced was on the Jurasic Park River Adventure. The wait was about 5-10 mins tops. When using the Express line for other rides we walked right on with little or no wait while the regular lines were clearly up to an hour wait.

They gave my dd a birthday cake. When we got seated the first night our server, Rowena, asked is there anybody here celebrating a special occasion? I said my dd will be 14 in a couple of weeks. And she said ok and then later she asked me when would be a good night to have the cake. So the next night they did the cake. So it should be easy to let them know about a special occasion even when you get on the boat. HTH, steph

I'm late to this thread and I wish I had seen it before my cruise in December '07. Man, I am so jealous of your pics! I left my video camera at home and ran out of time to go and by a digital camera before our trip in December. I had to deal with the old disposables. Great pics and great TR. Was the pic of your feet the only photo of you that you had?
