We've been talking about doing a meet on our embarking day. Jim and I have a mid-ship category 3 that we've offered as the meeting spot. I was thinking maybe a 5-5:30pm open house type of thing. That way those that want to do the sailaway party can and those that have early dinner will be accommodated.

That would be lovely, our reservation is under my name, Julia Jordan. Would the front desk give you our room number so you could call ?
Our plans are MK on the 29th (DH Bday), with afternoon tea at the GF, MGM on the 30th, NYE we will be in Epcot.

Julie, We are flying in on Wednesday 12/29. Our flight lands at 9:15am.-Very Early Flight.We have to leave the house by 4:45am. We will be at POL probaly around 11am. If the weather is nice we will hang at the pool for a few hours.
We have plans for MGM that evening (12/29). We are meeting friends from the DIS-12/18 cruise for dinner at 6pm at the Brown Derby and than hopefully to watch Fasntastmic and see the Osbourne Lights.
We have no plans on the 30th or in the am of the 31st. We are going to go with the flow on those days.
You can as well ask the front desk to give you our room number. I will leave a message with the front desk to do so. You can as well. I think as long as they have permission that they will give it out. Let me know what day and time works for you as you all have a lot planned. It will be so nice to meet you. TTYL-Gail

Wow, does everyone realize that we're up to about 100 people and that's not counting Jeffports family reunion of 43?!!?. I think we may need to move the DIS meet to the Promenade Lounge. Even if only half of us show up, that's probably too many to fit in our stateroom. How do you all feel about that? I mentioned 5-5:30 before, will that still work for everyone?

Very busy day today. I am one of the class mom's for DD and their holiday party is today. I also have last minute errans to run. The children believe that there is a Chanukah Man that works with Santa Claus. They are making cookies for them both tomorrow night.....so I need to get the stuff for it and a few gifts from the Chankauh man. It is so nice to be young and dream. We feel it is not forever as they will find out soon enough. Gail

BRRRR it's so cold here. I am counting days and minutes until we can get to where it's warm.

The promenade lounge sounds like a good place to meet. We have dinner at 6:00 so we can say HI quick before we have to leave for dinner.

We've had our DISmeets in the Promenade Lounge for our first two DCL cruises, so that works good for us. Looking forward to meeting everyone, wherever it might be. We better get the word out, because I just told Cookie54 yesterday that the DISmeet was in your cabin.

Tammi, you can always leave a note on your cabin door with a sticky note telling people that the DIS meet has been moved to the Promenade Lounge. That way everyone will be able find you.
