Got our documents on Friday. YAY! Now it really seems real. Have to get them filled out. Also going to start packing some summer stuff this week. It's really cold here so I am looking to go someplace a little warmer.

Which of the restaurants that we dine in on our cruise do you need to dress the nicest for? We aren't dress up kind of people so we don't have lots of really dressy clothes.

The fanciest dining room on board would be Lumieres.

No word on our documents yet. They will go to the travel agent first and then she will contact us to let us know that they have arrived. I hope it will be soon

I can't believe how fast the time is going!!!

We will be on that plane before we know it.

Yes we leave home in 17 days to start our drive to Florida .

Anyone who has already received their documents - did you book directly with Disney or thru a TA? Ours haven't shown up either - maybe it's for the best. That would be the ultimate distraction from all of the holiday chores that lie ahead. I'd have to take down the evergreen and put up a palm tree and instead of listening to Jingle Bells how about "When You Wish Upon A Star." But what a pleasant distraction it would be - SIGH!!!

We booked ours right through Disney and got our stuff last Friday. I started to fill some of it out already. Have to go and buy some suitcases next week. I can't find any of ours. Need big ones too!

Does anyone who has booked via DVC before know if DVC gets the docs first and then they come to us or does DCL send them directly to us?

Hi everyone-Happy Tuesday. We just changed our reservations to fly down on 12/29. DH job will be wrapped up by than. We are staying at the Port Orleans-french side waterfront for two nights and than we will be on our way to the timeshare. I wanted to stay at the Contemporary but it was $170.00 more per night eventhough it would be eaiser with the monorail. We are meeting friends from the 12/18 sailing for dinner on 12/29. We have such an early flight 6:30am. We will all have to nap before our dinner plans.
We went through a TA so I guess our doc's will take longer as I am guessing they go to the TA and then the TA sends them to us. Does anyone know how it works with the TA??
Getting cold in NY. Winter has arrived. BURR...........
I am pretty sure we are going to cancel Comfort Suites as we really just want to go with the flow. DH also wants to go to Atlantis Casino for a few hours while the children are in the program. Mabye if it is nice we will do Cable Beach for a few hours in the am or hit the beach not to far from the port. I must call Shirley from Perfect Gift and order the children their sand buckets that are filled with stuff.I am talking to myself again.

We always book thru the travel agent.

Our documents have always been sent to her and then she calls me and tells me they are there.

I, of course, have to run right over and pick them up even though it is a 1/2 hour drive away

DH and I were just talking this morning about how we are looking forward to warmer weather and just hanging out for a week. We need this cruise badly.

We are really doing the dance now as it's getting closer

Our DCL Doc arrived testerday (Tue). Can't wait!! Headed to BCV on 1/2 then on the Magic 1/4.

I can`t see us getting them before we leave the UK in about 11 days time. I suppose our TA will send them to POR at WDW as we will be there for 7 days before the cruise.
I`d like to know our stateroom # though!
What time is everyone planning to get to the port? Our towncar service is picking us up at 11am at POR, I wondering whether to request an earlier time.
Where has the time gone?

Personally I like to arrive at the port between 10:30 - 11:00 am.

Plenty of time to check in and explore around the terminal before you are allowed to board. Since you don't get to return to that area of the terminal when you get back, you need to take any pictures etc that you want before you board the ship.

This arrival time gives us time to do all that and to board the ship early and have lunch and start to enjoy our cruise.

Doesn't matter to me if the ship is docked or out at sea, as long as I am on the ship

We're flying in the night before, so I'm hoping to be at the port around 11am also. I purchased the Disney transfer for this trip. Does anyone know when they start leaving the airport?
