01/04/05 4 Day Magic Roll Call

We'll be using our DVC points to stay at a studio at Old Key West. We're on a waiting list for the Boardwalk so we have our fingers crossed! We're going to arrive late on the 1st and spend the 2nd and 3rd in the parks before leaving for the cruise. We can't wait!

Hi everyone. Happy Saturday. Very busy week with the start of the holiday starting Tuesday night. DD is home sick with 102.1 - doctor says it is a virus going around. I am glad she caught this now and not before we leave on the 31st. I am still waiting for my doc's. It would be nice if they come today. We might change our tickets and come in 12/29 into WPB and surprise the in laws for 2 days before we head up to Orlando and stay at our timeshare at the Marriott Grand Vista. It will be a last minute decision as we have to wait and see on DH job site. I checked the weather in Orlando and Nassau and it looks like a cold spell for a few days. I hope it gets warmer when we arrive in Orlando and sail. Have a great weekend everyone. Gail

Hi Gail and Fellow 1-4-05 Cruisers,

I'm here at my mom's in "COLD" Florida. I'm freezing here, can you believe it.

I arrived in Orlando was 3:33 this afternoon and it was only 66 degrees. My mom and I drove over to Port Canaveral and waited next to Grills to see the Magic sail away. The Magic finally left at 5:45 this evening. I did get a few shots of the Magic, but it was already quite dark and I'm not sure how the photos will turn out. I'm glad I had my "WINTER" coat with me, once the sun went down, it got cold very quick. After seeing the Magic sail past, we went to get something to eat, then made the 90 minute drive to my mom's house. We will be leaving here about 6am on Sunday for the drive back to New Jersey.

Time to get some shut eye, we have a long drive ahead of us.

We have two staterooms booked & still have only received docs for one. I called today & they said the other one still hasn't been sent out & the computer randomly chooses which ones to send (??). The ressies are linked together so I don't know why it does that

I'm back, but no documents. I was so hoping to find that they had been delivered while we were away. Oh well.

The trip to Disney was fun. I have to admit though, I didn't feel the least bit Christmasy while I was there. Maybe it's the weather, or that "being home" means Christmas to me, but it was a great vacation anyway. My kids were shocked when they found out and whenever I surprised the whole family with my oldest DD, well it just didn't get any better than that. I'm going to write up a full trip report just as soon as I get settled.

Oh, and welcome to the new arrivals that we picked up while I was gone.

My mom and I arrived home safe and sound a little while ago. We had a very nice ride home, my mom's new car rides like a dream. We had lunch at the Bay Bridge Tunnel and had some very delicious crab cakes!!! I still feel as though my body is traveling at 70mph though, LOL!!!

I go back to work on Wednesday. Tomorrow, Hazel and I have to get our DVC resale paperwork sent back in so we can have closing by the end on this month. Another busy day ahead, LOL!!!
