I made 2 hotel reservations via the Disney Visa rewards telephone number and the 0% didn't apply, went around and around with Chase who is clueless and said a 0% for Disney doesnt even exist. Does anyone know if the 0% didn't apply because I purchased tickets separately? Thats the the only thing I can think of.

It's definitely a thing, but like the poster above said, it has to be a Disney package. If you are booking a room at a Disney hotel, you can actually get a room-only package which still qualifies. I do this all the time because I'm an AP and don't need tickets as part of the package. I utilize the 0% for 6 months all the time when booking rooms this way.

Well this frustrating since I told the lady booking I got this new card specifically for the 0% offer. Chase is zero help. :(

It's not actually Chase who needs to help you -- call the WDW reservations line and see if you can switch to a "basic package" which is essentially a room-only reservation with package terms. Deposit is $200 with balance due (and penalties kick in) at 30 days prior to arrival. That will qualify for the Disney Visa 0% interest.

If for some reason you need the room-only terms -- balance due at check-in and cancellaion up until 7 days before arrival --- you need to decide which is more important to you, the 0% offer or the looser terms.

We attend in April and we already got the bill, thats how I knew it wasn't showing 0% We put like 850 down per room.

You can still get the reservation adjusted, but yeah if you didn't catch it on the email confirmation and just noticed on the bill you might get hit with interest if you don't pay the amount due. Though if you have time, the charge can be credited before your payment due date.

How would it possible to change it to a package after your stay is completed? Let us know how it works out.

Probably not. Maybe I misunderstood that the reservation had just been made and the deposit showed up on the visa statement without the 0% financing.

I doubt anything will change but I will update what happens.
With chase you can pay over time for purchases over $100 with no interest but it does have a small monthly fee attached. The fee is less than the interest you would pay though if you can't pay it all off right away.

I'm not sure if they went in April or made reservation for next April.

Its only if you pay with your Disney Visa for a PACKAGE. This would including the $200 deposit and then any additional payments made. Each will start a new 6 month cycle.

Its possible that you could modify your room only into a package. Not sure if you would then be given a refund for the one night stay deposit and charged the $200 package deposit.
Or you could cancel and rebook.

Personally I don't even like the 0% apr especially because my 6 months tends to be up near the holidays when I also have a ton of other things on my card so I tend to just pay it off before the time it needs to be.

Unfortunately its your responsibility to read the fine print as to what qualifies because not every Disney CM nor every person that works for Chase knows every detail.

Fortunately I have the money but really only applied for the card to get the 0% offer and keep that money in a high yield account for another 6 months.

I hope you at least got a sign up bonus.
I did. I’m going to phone chase CS and see if they will credit the annual fee once. We will see. I would’ve made $110 in 6 months in savings so if they waive the fee I’ll be happy

You'd be lucky if they do. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they did just to quiet the customer.
But like I said before its no one's "fault" but your own for booking a room only when the benefit is for a vacation package only and it is made extremely clear as it states "select Disney vacation packages".
I'm just giving my honest opinion.

Well one tends to trust the Disney rewards booking agent knows what they are talking about and books it correctly. I did not book it myself.

Okay I may be ignorant to this. There is a Disney Rewards Visa booking agent?
I book myself by calling WDW or online so I was not even aware that was a service provided.
Did you tell them that you wanted to book a package that includes resort and tickets?
If not they are not mind reaeders and you know what assuming does.
