Day 2, Part 2: A Grand Breakfast​

We last left off checking out the club level lounge at the Grand Floridian.

After looking around a bit, we grabbed some breakfast and settled in at one of the tables overlooking the beach.







This morning they had eggs, bacon, sticky buns, some fruit, and my favorite, pog-mosas!

We spent about 40 minutes enjoying breakfast and getting seconds before exploring the lounge a bit more.













I think my favorite thing about this lounge is that it has three floors with lounge space! The fourth floor is where the food service is, the concierge desk is on the third floor along with more seating and two outdoor patios with even more seating, and then the fifth floor with even more seating. Funny enough, even with all the seating, we ended up finding a favorite table that we sat at almost every day.



I love this chandelier, it is so gorgeous!

After a while exploring, we were ready for our next adventure of the day. This morning we were off to the Magic Kingdom!

Wow! I had no idea the concierge at GF was so extensive!! It looks gorgeous. I don't blame you for being so excited to check-in!

That CL lounge looks amazing and the food looks so good!

I was thinking of you a couple days ago because I had to book our DVC reservation for next December...isn't that crazy...but I ended up booking a BLT/BCV split! So if all goes according to plan we will go to MVMCP on 12/4 and then move to BCV on 12/5. Thanks for giving me this idea, it's so smart!

We ended up checking in with Sarah and Haliyah and they were so amazing! Before the trip I had put in a room request here for two queen beds since I didn’t want to be assigned a king room and have to sleep on a pull out couch. Once we arrived at the front desk, Haliyah saw the request, but also saw that they had of course assigned us a room with a king bed.

They really need to take care when assigning a king room. Just a quick look at your requests would have prevented this. It's a good thing they could fix your reservation.

We took some pictures of the mini-gingerbread house in the lounge before going to check out what the breakfast options were.

The mini gingerbread house is very cute even if it looks like they just stuck a house on a cake.

We had someone gift us access to the GF CL for two days a couple of years ago. The lounge is really nice with great food choices. There were a lot of two top tables when we were there which made me think that they mostly get couples rather than families with young children.
