Okay thanks! We will make sure we are on top of that!@Haley R , make sure to download the Southwest app and be sure to check in for your flight right at 24 hours before to try and get A or early B boarding and you shouldn’t have any problem getting a seat together
Also, we are planning on the October 25 and October 28 parties.
I’ll go change it a bit. I’m also celebrating my birthday when we go!I've added your new dates to the MAIN page to reflect your changes. Please see:
Post #329 and update your itinerary on: Post #150 I'm suggesting you may need extra time in the Dwarfs line being this close to Halloween.
Also sorry to miss you by a few days, I'll be at MNSSHP on Oct 30th celebrating my birthday!

We would probably just hang out at Pop until the party that night. I’m hoping we get lucky with an early check in so I can take a nap before the party!@Haley R
I believe if you arrive early to any WDW resort and your room isn't ready, you could leave your luggage with the Desk and visit the parks.
If anyone has experience, please chime in. We fly Delta and our rooms have always been ready.
For some reason Frontier just be revamping their flight times. I know earlier in the year they had non- stops from stl that arrived in Orlando in the morning!Does anyone know if DH and I will have a hard time getting seats together with Southwest? I just read that they have open seating and you get to pick seats when you get on the plane. I've never done that before, but it would really stink if I couldn't sit by him on the plane.
Monday, Sep. 9 / DW, DH, DD7, DD4 and DS2
3:30-4:10 MK bypass - Wristbands, Treat Bags, Map
4:15-6:00 Moana (my girls are OBSESSED! Meeting her is a must.) She came out at 5:45 last year
Tag Team: ? FP Schedule it for 3:20-4:20

Peter Pan - Unfortunately I am unable to see his hours via WDW link below, I believe he met last year during regular park hours but I am unsure if Disney closed it down at the start of the party 7pm?

So this changes your itinerary and you'll need to re-post your wish list/priorities. Please include your FP selections as well and we'll go from there.
Parade
Fireworks
Hocus Pocus show
Rides
A few magic shots (would love haunted mansion one, headless horseman if they have it)
Different party snacks
NOTE: To meet Captain Hook, Mr. Smee and Peter Pan I would recommend The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage - It's worth every penny and yes, you can dress up! WDW Link:

It’s $15 per person each way so it would end up being $60. I also read online that it doesn’t guarantee you a spot in the A group. The guy who wrote the article said it’s very possible you get put in the B group and he actually did. I think I’ll just treat our check in as a FP booking and make sure I do it the second I can lol.For some reason Frontier just be revamping their flight times. To be extra sure you have seats together on SWA you can pay the extra $15 for Early Bird boarding.....I think that ensures you get in the A boarding group in the first 30 spots
Yes, we did MVMCP last year. I didn’t have any FP issues, but yes, they were reported by others. Can’t report on the “feel” around 6 as we were at dinner then.
No idea if the 6 pm close is the reason, but we attended on a sold out night (the last party to be exact) and I would have never guessed it was sold out if I didn’t know it was. Character lines were quite short and I walked up to a curb side parade spot moments before it started. But maybe we were just lucky.
@monique5 i know you did 2 parties last year, how did your other party compare?

We didn’t use it last trip either when we landed at 8:30 pm. We will probably get our own bags again. It’s just one less thing to worry about. If you plan on attending the party the day you arrive I think most people do NOT use Disney Yellow Luggage Tags. I believe it's a three hour wait until you receive your luggage.
