We had dropped a few pages, so I wanted to get us back to page 1. On our last DIS cruise thread, someone created the following logo.

Many put it in their DIS signatures and someone put it on a website for t-shirts, etc. I wound up making our own shirts for embarkation. The neat thing was, at the cruise terminal, prior to any DIS meets, we all were able to find each other and start the introductions.

Another person took requests and created a laminated first name badge with the logo for your lanyard. So during the cruise, it was very easy to spot fellow DIS'rs. (I may take on this task as we get closer, but if anyone else wants to do it, I would be happy to hand off.)

So a challenge to the graphical artists out there. How about a logo for our group? Nothing too fancy, just a way to help identify ourselves.

So very glad to be sailing on the Fantasy...I cannot wait!!

Without further ado:

There will be DH (54) and myself (48). No children, just two big kids at heart who *love* Disney!! We have only cruised with DCL before, and hope we'll keep it that way...

I think we are on 10th deck, and we have late dinner seating, along with 7pm show.

We will be celebrating my Bday (the big 5-0). Can't wait! (for the cruise, that is...)

I remember seeing this logo and loving it!!! I think the cruise specific logos are neat.

We definitely need something to help identify us. On the cruise we just got off on Sat AM, the DIS meet was non-existent. Someone recognized DH at the port from reading our TR and seeing our pics, and even though DH described himself, nothing. It was wild. We did have an awesome time with the FEs though.

It was Cafe Press where someone uploaded the logo, and a few people ordered shirts from there. I still like my old fashioned way of the iron on, but it was interesting to see how far some folks took it.

My family loves doing the FEs, so we are definitely in. I will also update you guys once we know when the little guy or girl is born for the last member of the family.

Also I'd also love to help with a cruise logo. I am not very useful at photoshop by any means. I tell you what though, we do make some nice little laminated baggage tags here at work (yes I work for an airport). I made some nice ones for our last cruise that people liked, and be more than happy to do it again with a new logo.

And our meeting was kind of small as well. I can't blame too many people, several were either getting married or doing vow renewals on my cruise.

Also we have to keep this going....it's the only way my mind can "get away" from this snow and cold I see everywhere outside lol!!!

I don't think we will do the FE this time...we're still trying to find room for all of the FEs gifts we had on our last cruise!!

By the way, I tried this pm to check port activities on the DCL website, it kept timing out on me, or worst, at one point, it couldn't even find my reservation!!

did any of you experience anything similar with the DCL website?

I made this one tonight for our cruise.

Pretty - it would make a nice luggage tag, bookmark, or magnet. I think it's too big for a logo in a signature, though.

Please get the NEW design (that was the old flag of St. Thomas so I updated it). We are snowed in here (day 4 with school cancelled until tues). got 8" of snow and ice in Atlanta and can't get out. I've had fun playing with the designs. I liked the white one I made better too! I think the beach one I did last night will be great for a magnet. I used to make tons of the DISigns on the t-shirt board, so I really enjoy it.

DH is working on one, too. So far, it's looking pretty good! He makes all of our door magnets, and we DISigned our FE together, too. We wanted our stuff to be original, rather than from the thread that most people get their magnets, etc from I always tell him having him is like having my own "jordak" (I am sure you know of him from the Magnet/logo DISigning board). Me, I don't get Photoshop........

triplefigs, Sorry to her about being snowed in. I remember those days.......Even here in Tampa, DH had to cover our plants. We got the cold front, too. Not cool at all!!!
