We have two cabins. The price is almost $5000 more total now. I told DH we saved $5000...he didn't quite see it that way, lol.
We cruise on Oct 1st on the Magic and are going to book 2 dummy dates - I need to be on the ball for 2013 like we were for 2012 with booking right away!!! I cannot bear those price hikes!!!! I am hoping for Alaska in a Nav verandah, so may only do 1 cruise since it will be such a costly vacation with airfare and such.......we'll see. Not that I can complain with 3 DCL cruises in 2012Better to have 2 dummy dates than none at all!!!
Have you guys been watching the progress of the Fantasy?? She's looking great!!!
Is it better to book a dummy date as soon as the next round of dates come out, or wait until our cruise and rebook on board with the booking discount? We'd love to do a cruise in 2013 for our 10 year anniversary.

Pick your date and itinerary and book it immediately when 2013 opens. Then re-shop it onboard next June, then the future cruise CM will re-price it for you with the 10% rebooking discount and OBC.
If prices have remained stable since booking opened (yeah, right), you thank your lucky stars that you were smart enough to book at the beginning before prices skyrocketed.
8 months from today, we are cruising!![]()
Ugh, you had to go and burst my bubble.Isn't it 9 months for our cruise?

Prayers and best wishes being lifted up for you. DH is in a very specialized field, with government contracts, and has been home (i.e. out of work) since late March.Hi everyone. Been following things on Facebook, but haven't posted here in eons. Updated all my tickers today and thought I'd show them off
to all those who have joined us in the last few months! Sorry to see so many others have dropped out, and that others have been having some very trying times. I lost my job yesterday and I'm a little worried. I knew for the last 5 weeks it was coming and had some very good interviews last week - I'm pretty sure one of them is going to pan out. But being a single parent and all, just the slim chance that they won't is a little daunting. I work in very specialized field and have a stellar reputation - the last time I was unemployed it was for 7 days. Please keep your fingers crossed for me.
Prayers and best wishes being lifted up for you. DH is in a very specialized field, with government contracts, and has been home (i.e. out of work) since late March.(Needless to say, money is beyond tight) Glad you're still hanging on to this cruise. Lot's of time to pay it off, if you haven't already (guess I'm trying to convince myself!)
