WOOHOO!!!! Got our cruise docs yesterday!!! I was surprised, figured we would end up not getting them at all.:banana::banana:

It is official, we are cruising!!

I may purchase the Conch Train too online, might as well save where I can!

morning!
I am going to work on my shirt today for the cruise. If you read my cruise TR, and saw the shirts we wore on the day we got on the ship we are wearing them again, except I am having to redo mine b/c it got ruined. They have our names on the front so if you see us in the terminal come say hi!!

So does that make me the only one without my documents? :confused3
I do know they were mailed...so I should get them today, hopefully!

Darcy...I used to do that too, every day at least an hour....I finally said enough. So when I stopped/charged...they 'found out' the job was too much for one person and hired a second!!! Now I only work over if she's out. And I still charge comp time!!!:goodvibes

We don't have our cruise docs yet, and we live in Orlando. Although, we just booked on Nov 1st. I'm not concerned. They could still change our stateroom until arrival...actually happened in August, we got our cruise docs and our stateroom was switched before we sailed. I bet we get them in the next few days though :-)

I don't have mine, but they were mailed Friday or saturday so hopefully today!

My Dad has been gone for a week today. I have had an awful cold since then. I did manage to get out for a 35 minute brisk walk today. It felt pretty good...my 1st half marathon is coming in January at WDW. I don't care about my time as long as I finish in time. Going to hit the shower then pull out some more Christmas decorations to put up today...then the grocery store at some point. While we didn't get in on the official FE, I have managed to pull some stuff together for some family FE gifts to drop off...excited that I only have a few finishing touches to do on those. I am so excited for my Bon Voyage drink...only 11 more days.

Good morning all! :surfweb: ;) Just a quick note to the FE latecomers... I have added all of you to "my" FE list, and will be spreading some pixie dust your way... :wizard:

The systems are going through an upgrade for another day. It will let you enter it if you try again at the end of the week.

Thanks - I'll give it one more try in a day or so and then give up! :lmao:

Busy at work for me this week too, but I am lucky that I get compensated or can take comp time, whatever I prefer. Very fortunate I know. :goodvibes

Good luck to eveyrone getting their stuff finished up! Not long before we are all sipping cold beverages and feeling the sea breeze on our faces :sail:

I even managed to get to my parents house. We cleaned out the refrigerator and cupboards today and picked up a few of their Christmas decorations, including a 4 foot tree with all the ornaments my mom made each year since she and my dad were married...one per year dating back to 1970. Tomorrow I am running down to get their outside decorations which will now grace our yard. I have to mow the lawn first.

How wonderful to put up your parents decorations. My mom has been awesome in giving my sisters and me some of my dad's things to have around our houses. Those little things bring back so many wonderful memories, and gives my DH a glimpse into the wonderful man my dad was.

Just saw this thread that had photos of them dismantling the Flying Dutchman from CC. Doesn't sound like she will be there when we arrive in 2/1 2 weeks - I'm glad I got to see it last year!

I know I'm in the minority here, but I am not sorry to see the Dutchman go.

I saw it on my last two cruises, and while it is really cool (especially for this film buff!), it does make getting certain photos of the ship a bit more difficult. I dunno, maybe now that it is gone I will actually miss it! Guess we shall see!

Steph - at lest you get comp time for your extra hours. I get a big bowl of NOTHING. Barely a thank you at that. :sad2:

So, on the rare occassions where it's slow at work, I don't feel guilty when I take a long lunch....

We do not get comp or OT, but my boss is absolutely wonderful. If she knows we have put in extra hours, the next time we are taking off she refuses to sign the leave form and just lets us take the day. But I hear you on taking a long lunch...

It's an eticket that print out at home, no extra cost. I live near Orlando, and we have gone to Key West on a weekend trip before. We always pick up the coupons at the AAA rest stop and hotels. The best coupon I ever saw was 2nd day free or 10% off...same discount I got online.

Hmmmm...need to think about this one. My plan is to just walk around Key West (what I always used to do during my Miami days when we would head down that way). But the convenience of the trolley is soooooo tempting!

Yea!!!! Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting!

Will definitely look for you! We will have ours on also...same DISigner did ours, I believe. And I have to give a big shout out and thank you to Stephanie (BealsRwe) for pointing me in the direction of where to have our shirts made. They turned out AWESOME!!!

I don't usually log on at home, but I need to get this big project done (or as 99% done before I leave). We are down one team member so we are overly slammed with work (which is good, but also bad for stress levels). During "normal" times of work, I definitely do not log back on at home.

Good news...we hired someone (internally) and she should start training with us soon, so that will be helpful, but in the next 2 weeks, it's just me and my stress.

REALLY looking forward to the Drink of the Day in just 11 days! :scared1:

Last year we had coordinating shirts for boarding day/photo, but I really don't like that background anyway, so thinking it will be whatever this year. However, DS has told me he does like that background, so we'll see what happens.

We do all have coordinating colors for formal night for a nice photo, and I want a lifestyle photo with all of us in tan capris/pants/short and white shirts. Those seem to look really nice from what I've seen when people post them. I think 2 "coordinating" outfits is all I can get out of DH. :rotfl:

Sitting on a 2 hour conference call right now...need to get back to my project.

I want it to be Turkey Day so I know we are leaving the next day!!!

Ah when it rains, it pours.

I truly have a need for this vacation now. We just left the surgeons office with my mom. She has pre-evasive breast cancer. Good news is no chemo, bad news is radiation. The Doctor was nice enough to schedule her surgery BEFORE I left on vacation. I think the next week will make me enjoy this vacation even more. So if you would be so kind to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We go to the hospital on Friday morning at 5:30 a.m. :scared1:

Other than that today has been great. I have to head to Hallmark this evening, im sure there's a "It sucks that you have breast cancer card" for her.

Cross your fingers for me.

I'm so sorry Tonya..:grouphug:
Good news...pre-evasive! I have a good friend just finishing her radiation treatment this week....she's going to be in Disney in December....she made jokes about her "tattoos" for the radiation treatment.

Your mother and you both are in my thoughts and prayers and they will both be flying on Friday....

I was teasing my mother about her soon to be had "tattoos". She is not a big fan of tattoos (my DH has a few, I have none) so I took the opportunity to tell her that she was gonna be a hot mama with her tats. I also told her that since my mother had one then I could finally get one too. Both her and my best friend have had some form of breast cancer, so its a pink ribbon with a skunk (flower from bambi) in the middle.

She's taking it really well. I know its not like its a life threatening cancer, but its still my mom and its that darn "C" word. I got her "I fight like a girl" t-shirt after work. Guess I won't have any trouble convincing my doctor that its time for that baseline mammogram for me.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. It means a lot.

I've done my jog / run / walk for the evening and now I have to wait in line to take a shower. I'm sure that my DS will use all the hot water. :(

I'm SO looking forward to this vacation.

Oh, you should have no problem at all convincing your doc for a baseline. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was in my 30's. That year my doc did my baseline and has done a mammogram every year since.

My mom celebrated her 5-year survivor mark with me on the Wonder last year!

:grouphug:
