For using a zip tie on the FE - last year I had a stocking (not a "real" FE) and I put the zip tie through the loop of the stocking and then "through" the "hook" that the fish is on. That sounds totally confusing, but you will see what I mean when you get there. Basically you just want to secure your FE to the base of the fish so it doesn't get stolen.

THIRTY DAYS!!!

I usually do a zip tie to secure mine too, the last cruise I forgot and didn't need it, but I try and remember them if I can.

I still need to figure out excursions. My family isn't co-operating and isn't willing to make a decision . They want to wait and decide later. I hate waiting.

I worked at home last night til about 8 and was logged on again this morning already. Hoping that extra work will make today go a little smoother and maybe I can actually leave at noon as I should be for my 1/2 day. We shall see!

One more note on the zip ties...if you use them, be sure to bring a pair of scissors to take it down! I carry a small pair of kids' blunt end scissors when we travel, so if you forget, come on and knock on my door (and let's hope I didn't forget this time).

Happy Friday everyone! It sounds like Friday couldn't come soon enough for some! Hopefully the weekend will make up for the cruddy week some of you have had.

I have had to take a break from WDW/Cruise planning for our Nascar trip next weekend and then before I know it we'll be on our way to Orlando! 3 weeks tomorrow!

I have thought that we might do some of the tastings too....well, actually, I'll drink just about anything, so they all sound good to me!

We had a nice chilly morning here - in the 40's, which for Texas at this time of year is wonderful! I know the kids all have to be excited for Halloween this weekend! Hope you all have a great Friday!

Well, I survived the day, and more importantly I let the "others" survive as well.

I rushed to get out of there at 2:30 (not so much 1/2 day) and have TONS to do next week. I guess on the bright side, I will be so busy at work that the next 4 weeks will FLY by.

I will be stressed to the max, so will be ready for that drink of the day as we set sail on the 27th.

Need to throw some brownies together for tailgating at the flag football playoff tomorrow (also have crackers and cheese and football-shaped Oreos). Hoping we have another win, but DS just told me that one of our best players was out sick today.

Not sure what will happen. Heading to a school Halloween party tonight, and tomorrow before/after the game, I have more people coming to look at the PC stuff, so that is good.

Still no FE from Jen yet for me, and my gifts are still hiding in the dining room until I can get to them.

I am definitely happy it's Friday....have a great weekend everyone, I'm sure I'll be checking in.

Sorry you had such a rough day at work Darcy! It wasn't much better for me...I spent 8.5 hours basically dead in the water...unable to do anything. That means Monday will be murder...provided they are able to correct the problems with my connection....

I plan to get at least step 3 done this weekend! That will only leave two more steps, one of which I am thinking of waiting to do onboard.....but I also have laundry (of course ) grocery shopping, new glasses, trick or treating with the grandbabies (a 4-year old Tinkerbell and an 18 month old Captain Hook and a 3 month old Monkey (ok, he's not trick or treating, we are just taking him with us!) ) plus the usual weekend chores that stack up.
I ordered the last of the stuff for the FEs for the kids....

Time to relax for the night, watch some and go to bed...no 4 am wakeup call for me!

I was just accepted to host a Wii "Just Dance 2" House party to test out the new game that is coming out! It will be on November 20 (just one short week before we sail!)....they will send us the game for everyone to play.
