MMM I love Brussels Sprouts when they are cooked well. I love Zucchini as well! I love all veggies except tomatoes and cucumbers actually LOL!! And I haven't ever heard of Broccoli causing cancer? That worries me because I love broccoli! I eat it alot...

MMM I love Brussels Sprouts when they are cooked well. I love Zucchini as well! I love all veggies except tomatoes and cucumbers actually LOL!! And I haven't ever heard of Broccoli causing cancer? That worries me because I love broccoli! I eat it alot...

I need to know the facts behind Matt's accusations against broccoli...it is actually very very good for you and we eat it alot. Also Zucchini we are one of the few who can grow it and still want more than we can grow...my sis in law always gives us her overflow too..and one badly cooked brussel sprout can ruin you but done well they are good.

Anyway the ? posed to me was...

Well this week my favorite restaurant is Blue Bayou I loved it!
But actually my favorites are Bucca de Beppo and China Palace

I was 6 years old when I first visted DL, and I LOVED IT! I've been hooked ever since LOL!!

Yes..... our state flower, being the Golden Poppy. There are other flowers too, however I am not certain as to their types.

No vacation plans for the forseeable future for us.

Oh that is a tough one but I am going to go with ocean! My family is pretty new to CA and live on the coast coming from Central MA. My DH and I marvel everyday at how we get to be at the beach every single day!

TNP.....do you have Parks in your town and do you spend time at them?

Define parks. do you mean something for the kids to ride, swings and slides, or nature parks? We have swings and slides a block from our house, we are there a lot. We do have a CA state park within a half hour drive and would like to go soon, but have never been. We go to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk every summer multiple times. Yosemite National park is a bit of a drive but we have been a few times.
