No, not even close. Sometime the family needs a big thing. Like a TV or computer or ski. But this year not big items on the list.

Too funny as a matter of fact we "kinda" did! Got up early one Sunday all set to drive our one hour to DL and the back seat window driver side would not stay up. Ugh. We went anyway and one DS all but rigged it up esp while we knew the car was going to be in the DL parking lot all day. Got back to the car that night, the rigging worked. Fixed it 2 days later = $200!

Before we moved to SD we lived in Newport Beach which was just 15 mins away so we never did more than day trips from NB! But since living in SD we would go for the weekend, 2 days for me.

Tons of times. Ran over it this summer during a race too. That is way better than driving if I might add.

Last year the party got so big we ended up in Olde Towne, San Diego and had MEXICAN and it was fabulous!!!

I say we plan for 3 and end up eating at 4. This seems to happen wether I eat with my parent of friends, the hour delay that is.
