Hey does anyone know where in Disney I can get the Haunted Mansion pillow? It's purple, says "Rest in Peace" , has tassels, and that cool wallpaper on the side of it. I've looked in The Olde Christmas Shoppe and the store next to the Haunted Mansion and I couldn't find the one I am looking for. What happened? HELP WHERE CAN I FIND IT?!

I posted this on the facebook page but thought I'd elaborate some here too.
Awesome! So now we have a new dilemma. What do we do with that new time? Our schedule is pretty well booked already. We're not hopping and we have ADRs each day. MK, HS, TL/BB, EP, MK. I've come up with three options.
1) We have WP&M tickets and likely will still have some entitlements left. We could hit one of the water parks that day and pay no more money. Downside is that we'd likely have wet things to bring home with us.
My wife is liking the water park idea. I like it too except for the wet clothes thing. The kids are wanting AK since we had planned on skipping that. I'm thinking that AK would likely be the easiest. We'd drop our bags with DME in the morning and then head to the park. Leave the park around 3pm, maybe shop at the AoA store then get on the bus to MCO. With hitting the water parks we're likely taking a bag of wet suits with us to the airport as a carry on. If we hit the water park though then we could do TL one day and BB on the other. Sleep in a little bit on one day and just have a relaxing day rather than getting up at the crack of dawn each day.![]()

When we booked our trip I originally wanted to stay until Saturday. My wife wanted to come home on Friday so we wouldn't miss Meet the Teacher night at DD1's school and find out who her second grade teacher is going to be. As such we booked an early-ish return flight on Friday so we can be back in time.
Yesterday I got an email from the school principal that the Meet the Teacher night had been changed district wide from Friday to Thursday! Now we're definitely going to miss it because we can't really change the trip. Disney will fine us and so will the airlines plus we don't want to cut it short.
Delta had modified our flight times and said we may be eligible for a flight change at no cost if we qualified. I looked at the website and according to their tool it was going to be another $1000+ to change all 5 flights. $150 change fees plus the fare difference. I thought I would see if I could change it via the phone today and maybe dealing with a human I could make some headway.
I found a flight that leaves at 7:30pm instead of noon like we had originally planned. That means that we don't have to be on DME until 4:30pm, practically an entire day if we hit RD somewhere. I called Delta and they took pity on me and changed our flight home with no fee and no increase in fare!

2) We could extend our tickets by a day and hit AK. We were skipping that on this trip in favor of the water parks. We should be able to hit plenty that day at AK without any issue.
3) We could swim in the hotel pool and/or go to DTD/DisneyQuest. Again, no real cost there. Wet clothes again unless we skip swimming.

We have the ability to make that choice while we're there, so I don't have to make a choice now unless I decide to make an ADR, but we'll actually be out of entitlements that day so I think I'll pass on that. (Although Tusker House is a lot of fun)
Any which way we go it's more Disney, so it's a win!
We're making some shirts this week. Started on the tie dye last night sewing Mickey heads. Probably finish that part of it tonight. The wife wants to do some Monsters Inc shirts too. We've also go to make some tutus! Lots to do still. We did pick up glow sticks and necklaces from the dollar store and some other trinkets from Target, so we're pretty set there. I also got my final Disney VISA statement before the trip and we have enough money on there to use for all of our tips for our meals.
Now to start laundry and packing too!
For a trip I have been planning for almost 2.5 years you would think I would be more 'ready' at this point. Yikes. Only the bare-minimum is packed, much much laundry must be done and there is a fairly good sized shopping list that must be taken care of.
How the heck did it get to be Aug 8?![]()
I know what you're feeling! We've been planning on his trip for 18 months and only 9 days away! I haven't packed anything, my lists are at half par and my heads just not in it yet! I have gotten the last minute things we needed but still have a lot to do!
I am excited for the trip but with my kids away with my mom we're just missing them.
The girls are having a difficult time with their nana and auntie while camping and its causing me to try to figure out how to go get them early, I just hate it when they FaceTime us crying!!! I know they're over tired and annoyed at not getting a good nights sleep because of my niece and that most time during the days they're busy playing and swimming but they begged to home home tonight and I'm just heartbroken for them! Just a pity party... Don't mind me ;-)
Sorry to hear that. I can't imagine that extra business to worry over while this close to trip start. Hope it works itself out soon.
Thanks I'm sure it'll be better and brighter tomorrow ;-)
I hope so!Hey Mrs.M.Mouse, I thought id ask you this question since you're in my part of Alberta...are you taking misting fans? If so where have you found them?

I am taking a little mister, I picked it up in the camping section of bass pro three years ago and don't know how we lived without it, it cost a mere $7 and works great, can't remember it's name :-( it's blue hand pump thing! I'm also taking a chilly pad.
Yay! I got my official invitation to test MagicBands! It went to my TA, and she forwarded it to me.
