I have a QOTD, providing it hasn't been asked yet in the posts I may have missed in these 39 pages -- ARE YOUR SUITCASES OUT YET??

I've started packing the bag I'm going to use for a few various things like our collapsible water bottles, fanny packs/other park bags, mini sunscreen bottles I've been collecting, eyeglass repair kit, lanyards... I think that's all that's in there. I also have out one of the bags I'm going to use for my clothes. I bought shoe holders that hang from a closet bar which I just left in the car and an over the door shoe rack for toiletries that I also just left in the car.

Oh my goodness! I get busy for a few days and we're on page 39 (looks like I just brought it to 40!!!) already! I guess we're excited.

Like a few others in here, our first day is the 18th, so as soon as we drop off our things in our room we are headed to MK to ride Jungle Cruise before it closes. Also, it's really fun to hit MK on the first night.

We'll be at MK on the 18th as well and I told the wife we have to do JC that day since it will be closing the rest of the week.

Our suitcases aren't ready for Disney yet because three of them are on vacation with the kids and one suitcase is getting ready for a weekend trip to San Antonio next weekend and then after that a weekend trip to Nashville the first week of August.

7 weeks to go today! On Monday we can say that next month we'll be going to Disney!

Our luggage is definitely not out, DH and I still don't own luggage. His Army training makes him a really efficient packer (although to this day I've never seen him make the bed with hospital corners...) and we always fit everything into a carry on bag. This is the longest trip we've ever taken though, and now with 4 people instead of 3,so I need to buy some grown up luggage. Anyone have recommendations?

GM - Do you have Sam Moon stores in your area? They have a very large assortment of inexpensive duffles.

We just have non-rolling duffels, Army issue and a couple I got as a promotion for opening a checking account when I was 16 They came with free six flags tickets, what teenager would pass that up.

I'll try overstock! I never think to look there. I've never seen a Costco, I don't think they're in my area.

No yet. To be honest I have no clue where they are (yikes). Probably won't start pack till the first week of August.

Have you ever used a Chilly Towel? It says it can cause skin irritation with prolonged use, and to take a break every hour. Just wonder if anyone's experienced such side effects?

What time is everyone landing in Orlando and what do you do for your first day?

We had a flight at 6am, but United changed it and it is now 6:35 AM. Our 2 hour layover is now under an hour . However, we should arrive in Orlando arround 5:30 PM (I am assuming we won't get to resort until 7PM). We will check in and see our room and then redeem our photopass +. Not sure if we will go to Epcot to do that or MK. I am thinking MK and then maybe do a few rides. Thinking the new Fantasyland stuff. It depends on how tired we all are from travelling. We may just try to eat at Beaches and Cream and head to bed to do RD early the next morning.

Not sure if you are aware but incase you decide to just stay at the BC and eat at beaches and cream, the marketplace has a booth where you can redeem your pp+ from 5-9pm. I never did this personally yet, but when I called pp+ customer service they informed me that was an option.

It's right outside the marketplace on the other side of the elevators I believe. It's where we met our Disney photographer to do our family pics...

Um...no, not even close.

One suitcase is just coming off a plane since my Dh was traveling for work and the other is in the attic I think.

I won't pack or start packing until the last week of July or August 1st. We are wearing what we are bringing.

Not sure if you are aware but incase you decide to just stay at the BC and eat at beaches and cream, the marketplace has a booth where you can redeem your pp+ from 5-9pm. I never did this personally yet, but when I called pp+ customer service they informed me that was an option.

I had heard about this but couldn't confirm it. I was hoping to do it at the resort. Thanks for letting me know this is a real option.

Ours our out, but only because I have been too lazy to put them up from a weekend trip!

I have a conference in NC the 21st-25th of July, so I will pack once I return from that. However, I will probably start packing the extra "junk" suitcase sooner. So glad we are flying Southwest for this trip!

We've never had a problem but I'll be more cautious with the kids using it now!
