My kids want LGMHs, I try to explain that they are not Disers, but they just want them. I was going to go look for Mickey paint chips at Lowes, but I hear they don't have them anymore. People used to use lime green Mickey paint chips as Dis pins.
I expecting a lot of people questioning me about my LGMH!

I love your name! It was on our short list of names if we had a girl. Hubby had some issues with the meaning though, but we both really like the name! But my "real life" name is Gretchen so clearly my parents liked the German names too!

So I haven't read all 100 pages yet of the thread, BUT my family (DH, DS6 and DD2) will be at CR August 2-8. (Offsite 7/31-8/2 with a trip to Sea World 8/1)

As for ADRs, here is what we have at the moment:

8/2 - Chef Mickey's 6:30pm

8/3 - Yak and Yeti 12:30pm

I do hope they are out (and WORKING) in August. I'm with the others...it depends on the $$. I think my cut-off is around $20. If they're much more than that, I think I would let the kids get one if they payed for all/part and DH and I would stick to the plain colors.

Last I heard from my TA, it's not looking promising for August...more like September I think he said (in order to iron out all the kinks).

We live about 20 min. from Punxsutawney. A few weeks ago, Phil's handler issued a personal apology for "misunderstanding" what Phil had told him. Someone in town was selling a groundhog cookbook.

We recently booked our trip to Disney from 8/1-8/8.
I just found this thread. I'm super excited for the trip and have been a bit overwhelmed with all of the ADR's. As of now I think we have a good plan going. I ordered our personalized maps which I hope don't take forever to arrive. As you see in my pic I have a 9 yr old DD and a 19 month old DS. He will be 23 months when we go on our trip. We'll be staying at POR in the Royal Suite which I fell in love with once I saw them. We have never stayed at Disney as long as we will be this trip. It will also be our first time staying onsite. We have never done all 4 parks on the same trip either. It will be our first time going to AK and DH first time at Epcot as well. We looked in renting DVC points but I think it's too short of a time period to get what we wanted. Maybe next trip.
I hope to read the previous pages to get to know you guys better.

They've been around as long as I've been on the DIS (2006) and probably longer. I used to use the Home Depot LGMH. But in all my trips, I never once spotted anyone else, nor has anyone found me.

I would have gone earlier as well but the royal rooms were a bit less in August.
