I'm in the Littleton/Highlands Ranch area.
Nice, we're just over in Parker.

I'm also going to work on finding other things that can help offset the cost of the trip, like selling all the stuff I've been hanging on to all year long with the intent to get it online, but haven't done it yet. If all of that sells, I think I could get another $200-300.
And my hubby just told me our May dates are fine for his work so our dates are finally confirmed. Woo Hoo
Now, he got home at 4:30 today and told me this at 9:30 this evening. I let him have it for waiting 5 hours to tell me this important information! lol

Woo hoo, thats great!
My son will be 4 in April and every single piece of clothing he has ever owned is sitting in my attic still. We are running out of room up there so I really need to go through it all and see what I can part with. I'm thinking I need to get on that and make a trip to the consignment store to see if I can earn some extra Disney funds!
We have a TON of clothes from my son too. Do you go to any particular consignment store? I've gone to Children's Orchard a few times but they are so particular about how to bring clothes in (HAVE to be on a hanger - give me a break) and they hardly take anything we have. It just hasn't been worth the hassle. I think I may try to go to a Kid to Kid store instead.

I've never sold at the consignment stores, only bought but I have heard good things about selling at Once Upon a Child. I've seen people bring in trash bags full of clothes so I doubt they require everything to be on hangers (thats crazy!). I figured it's at least worth a shot and if the offer they give me is too low I can just walk. I have a friend who groups 4-5 outfits together and sells them as a "lot" on Ebay. Just seems like too much work for me haha
DH keeps telling me I need to get back on eBay and start selling some of the kid's old toys and other things we have that are just taking up space in our storage unit. He wants to use that money for our DL trip too.
I think you should tell your DH to get on ebay and sell the stuff if he wants to use the money so bad. You're too busy on DISboards to have time for that!![]()
DH has booked the Islander, but I'm working on changing that if I can find a better deal/room elsewhere.
HOJO May 5-8th, celebrating 30 year anniversary and daughter 20th birthday. Watched mousewait last year and it was really slow and everything was open the first couple of weeks of May so can't wait to see Carsland.
I've been stalking the HOJO deals too, I only have 15% off and would love a better code!!!
<Putting on my thread admin head>
Now that we have a good size group going, you'll notice I added a poll to the top of the thread. (Look up).
For those that are new, here's the deal. Some groups make a Mickey Head and take it to the parks with them to signify they belong to a specific group. Mainly so if someone else from your group sees it they'll know you're special!
A lot of groups use the lime green Mickey Head as that is the symbol for DISboards which means a wider range of park goers would recognize it. Some groups use a more personalized Mickey Head so it's specific to their own tight knit little group.
What you do with it is up to you. YOu can put it on your hotel room door so if others from the group are staying there at the same time they can see it. Others attach it to a backpack or bag they are carrying around the park.
So the question that is posed to the group - do you want to do this? Enter your answer in the poll above and we'll see what comes out of it. I won't make it unanimous or majority rule, just if more than a handful of people want to do it, then we will!
We stayed at Hojo's on our last visit - kids suite for $99 a night . If only I could get that price again...
I am price shopping all of our accommodation today in the hopes of finding a better deal.
