I'm heading down for a quick weekend trip, May 17-19. I'll be sharing the drive and hotel room (PPH park view room!) with a couple of friends and my DS14. He doesn't know yet, I'm keeping it a surprise until the last minute. Can't wait to see the mouse again!!

We leave in 20 days! In 3 weeks we will be in Disneyland for our first day(a VERY LONG day).

Unfortunately, we are so swamped with school finishing up that I feel unprepared and am not ready for the trip to get here.

Kids made the countdown yesterday during their snow day with 30 days...first one taken off this morning. When I scheduled, I wasn't planning on any May snow days, but they still have 1 day breathing room- hope to have them home that day cleaning and packing!

Also ordered our CityPass last night. Unsure whether we'll order Amtrak tickets to SD online or buy them at the depot. Still need to make RFC reservations for arrival night.

I'm feeling nervous about being unfamiliar with the parks. I need to study some maps!

Thinking about adding a day to our CityPass so we can go to a park in the morning on the 5th before taking a cab to Amtrak. Guess we can decide on the 4th whether we feel we need park time, or a take-it-easy morning more.

I'll be there with my BFF for a girls trip from June 25 to June 28. We're staying at Desert Inn and Suites. This is my first time ever at DLR. Just found this thread so I need to catch up! -Amanda

Well since we're checking tickers . . .
Unfortunately, we are so swamped with school finishing up that I feel unprepared and am not ready for the trip to get here.

I just finished my finals(am in my last semester of college) but I also work part time and was hoping that I would have a break this next week to organize. Unfortunately one of the girls walked out at work last night so that is not happening. Add on the fact that the girls have a whole lot of end of year activities and I am probably going to be packing the day we leave. Good luck to you!

Yeah Us!! Just made plans today for a short-notice trip over the Victoria Day weekend. DH, Self, DS (16) and DS's buddy (also 16). I'm really excited to be taking the "big boys" this time, my last trip was with my DSis and her grandkids who were both 8. That was a fun age, but I think I'll see it in a whole new light with the teens.

I was over on the July trip board, but we had to move our vacation up to June, so here I am! We will be going third week in June, and three of our four days are grad nights. I am not very excited about that, but it was this week, or not at all this summer, so there you have it! I would love to have you all that experience grad nights post back and let me know how it goes for you!

Add us to the June dates. We will be at the Tropicana Inn from June 7-14. This is going to be a road trip vacation for us. Its been a few years since we did one. We are actually leaving home in Oregon on the 5th and won't return home until the 18th. Good thing DH, DD and I all get along really well. We will have stops in Sacramento, Visalia, Anaheim, San Diego, Las Vegas and Reno before we head home.

Disney-&-Baseball, we will be at the Tropicana Inn on the same dates. Our road trip is from San Francisco and we'll be going to Legoland first before DL. Sounds like we have similar routes.
