7 days away. Its been five years too long since my last trip. I cant wait

So after checking the weather the day we drive across the border (Tuesday), it will be 7 degrees and raining! That's roughly 44 degrees for all you americans out there. This was definitely the perfect time for a trip!

Currently 48 degrees here in Colorado, I'm ready for some heat too! 13 days

15 days for me too! Trying to finish up some embroidery today. Time is ticking and I have so much to get done.

Since this day is almost over I'm just saying it already!! Three days yep 3!!!! I'm so excited but sad my baby boy is growing so fast. He is turning 5 on Wednesday! I'm all packed since I work everyday until we leave! So excited!! Everyone gave safe travels!!

3 days?! AWESOME!!!!!

It's always bittersweet when a birthday hits. My oldest turns 7 years old on the 23rd and I'm just like, "Where has the time gone?!"

Have you considered getting an ECV for her instead? That way there's no pushing her around, and she retains her independence to move around as she likes.

Magic bands just shipped to the resort! Leaving Tuesday and arriving Wednesday! Only two more shifts of work. This week surprisingly flew by!

Ok so when we originally made our ADR's at 180 days I was able to book BOG for the 29th but it was at 8:45pm and I was on the fence with keeping such a late ADR. Well fast forward a couple of months and my DH took the decision out of my hands by cancelling it on me, lets just say I was not a very happy camper with that. Well I've been checking for the last 3 or 4 months for an earlier reservation or any reservation really and was out of luck every time. Well today I decided to check just for the sake of checking as we are exactly 3 weeks from arrival and guess what, I was able to not only get a reservation for Monday September 29th but I got one for 5:10pm!!!

So moral of the story is to keep checking!!!!

4 days left!!! After the night I had at work, I am really ready to leave. The only thing that kept me sane was knowing I will soon be in Disney! Too bad I have 3 - 12 1/2 hour shifts to go.

I know the feeling! I leave Tuesday and tomorrow is my last 12 but the ER has kept me so busy ugh!! And I have to be here an hour early to make work assignments in the am! So ready to go!!!!

It's been horrible! Is it a full moon? Last night I had 19 patients! 19!!! That's not even legal! 3 nurses for 54 patients and only 2 nursing assistants. 13 hours with no break, not a sip of water, and 5 minutes to shove a slice of pizza in my mouth. I need Disney in my life ASAP. Maybe I'll go work there. Lol!

Oh, has anyone ever flown with juice boxes in checked luggage? We each get a free checked bag (Jet Blue) so I was going to fill one with diapers, wipes, snacks, and drinks, but now I'm wondering if the pressure might make the drink boxes explode. I'd hate to arrive to that mess.

Random question...is a split stay worth it if you are only going to be there 5 nights? Is it a hassle to haul all of your stuff from each resort or do they transport it for you?

Every time I go to Disney I end up in first aid (under the excuse of needing a bandaid) and asking them how hard it is to get a nursing job there. The awful shifts always come before your trip...I'm dreading Monday and Tuesday, my last 2 shifts!
