Wow, I've fallen behind. I have been reading, just haven't commented.
So - Legoland looks cool! I am always impressed with the displays. That water show looked cute - I can't believe the people with those heads!
Let's see what else? Oh - ADRs! The Plaza - I ate there back in 2008 and really liked it, but our kids were still "kids", so there was no issue. I've never heard of any restaurant denying you or anyone from ordering from the kids menu. That's just dumb. Would they rather people didn't eat at all? Way to lose customers! It's good to know that kind of thing in advance though, before you go in and have that problem.
LeCellier - we've only been there the one time, in 2009. It was very good then, and I'd like to go back again. But if we were on
DDP, I would not use 2 credits. I'd do lunch or OOP so I could order what I wanted. I heard that the lunch menu has been limited too. Not cool.
Okay - rude snotty cow lady! Holy Cats, that's just ridiculous! I have no patience for rude people anymore either. It's gotten so out of control. I try to make them realize that they are being rude. If I encounter that at WDW, I will be speaking to managers. I have to deal with the public a lot at work, and some people are simply rude. I get that sometimes they're frustrated, but in your case, it sounds like she just hated having to say that over and over. Tough lady, it's your JOB! And WHY on earth would they NOT take that card????
My new strategy is to kill them with kindness. Make them feel bad by being super sweet and say things like, "Oh, I'm terribly sorry to incon
venience you, I had just wrongly assumed that a HUGE lego store like yours would have accepted the card. I guess EVERYONE must make that assumption since you had to go to such trouble as to have to make a sign up!" I might go on and on just to torture them.
So, on to Celebration!!! I can't wait to hear about this!! It's definitely in my plans for October!
