Wait - when did my Nancy sneak in here. :flower3:

Must have been while I was on the phone with my father. I'm going to see what you said. I'm sure you're thrilled. :rotfl: (well that came out wrong! - my head - I mean aren't you thrilled I'm going to run on over and read ya!).

Laughing. Don't even try to follow.

Becca - one day I must see her perform! Should I see her first and meet you later? :rotfl:;)

Yes Jean has been taking some acting courses for about a year or so. She was quite focused in her youth (with wanting to pursue)

Anyway, she reclaimed it when I sent her parts of that awkward musical Grey's Anatomy (loved some of it - meaning Sara Ramirez) and she LOVES Callie. As in stalker love. :rotfl: So she played her parts over and over and over and then all scenes over years with her and acting was back! Yeah Jean!

So she premieres tomorrow - last rehearsal right now. I'm going to two performances but not opening night - I want her to feel free. Everyone that is coming was told *do not tell me when you're coming*.

Don't make me quote WIZARD OF OZ with your crown missy!!!!!:rotfl2: You know the line, right? :goodvibes I told you I was the witch in that, eh?

Thanks Nancy. You're so right. And he's so hard to support. I'm actually laughing. (YEAH FOR THAT!!!) I can't even explain to you. But I do regardless of course. But it's like running up this hill over and over.

Okay - tomorrow I have some news for you all when I weigh-in. Big stories. Liz needs to get back for this! :flower3:

So I have two things to share tonight.

First, I'm in love, love with my new sneakers. I got New Balance minimus, if you couldn't guess they are minimalist sneakers. I've had some issues with my feet and I went to my trainer to talk to her about it. She told me Nike(which is what I had been wearing) was probably going to be tough for me. She suggested a more minimalist sneaker and so I tried on a few and loved these. I've been wearing them for a little over a week now and they are just amazing. I'd resisted the minimalist movement but I have to say these sneakers work perfectly for me.

My other big news is... I will be working part time as an assistant to my trainer. No not doing any class related things. She and her partner (business partner that is) have one fitness studio, they are working on a second. They new someone to enter new clients into their data base, keep their facebook page for them, help them out with tasks around the studio. We're still working out details but they want me to come on board, its more a matter of making it work for the three of us. I'm psyched because they are both great people, obviously I love the work they do and I could definitely use the extra money. I guess I probably could have just not picked up a second job and kept a few nights a week for myself but where's the fun in that?

    Yay for happy feet Meg.
Thats cool on the part time job. Have you ever thought of becoming a personal trainer? I think you would be good at it.

So my weight is exactly the same as last week and this is awesome. I tend to go up when its... the time of the month(tmi) but I didn't this time. And while I figure I'll be dropping some weight on the way to my new body I don't intend on having it fall off all real fast. Plus my favorite workout pants were a little loose and so were a pair of underwear. So all points in the win column for me!

Thanks Jo! You're actually the third person to mention it to me this week. My mom has once again started telling me she thinks I should become one. Also a girl at my boot camp mentioned it as well.

I've looked into it a bit, especially where I've wanted to go back to school anyways. I think the only reason I haven't started the process to do this is because it doesn't seem like it's possible that me of all people can become a personal trainer. I don't know, it's definitely been on my mind.

I hope everyone has a great day, it's almost Friday!

I've read but I'm zonked from yesterday. Absolutely zonked! (so have much to say to everyone but it will have to be later) (And Erika! Jean brought mail up and I'm telling you - day from he!! so PERFECT DAY to arrive - made me smile and smile)

    So are you ready?

    Are you SURE you're ready?

I'm down 7.2 this week. :rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2: That's like three sizes for the Pipsqueak. :rotfl2: Or almost goal for MCK! Or below goal for Nancy? :confused3...............

There is such a story here. Do not take it in for a minute. Is that not BEYOND RIDICULOUS? Is the scale not the most ridiculous little sh!t on the planet? (Has to do with the pound gained last week being ridiculous too).

And Nancy - :rotfl2: on Wizard of Oz. Do you really not know which quote I would throw at you?

Oh God - I don't even know where to begin!

Let's start with WEIGHT WATCHERS. :rotfl2:

I joined a couple of weeks ago. Let's all laugh. :rotfl:

I didn't want to say anything because my thoughts were with Liz - still are Liz - and you know.

I don't even know what to type here. Okay, so I only signed up for accountability. I had zero interest in WW as a choice but totally and I mean TOTALLY respect it.

Jennifer Hudson has been inspiring to me since I shake my head that she simply stands up every day. So she's been getting to me.

Okay I'll continue on the next post. :cheer2:

So I was going merely to have the accountability only - a regular weigh in. AND my closest meeting is close- by streetcar mere minutes BUT is a 45 walk. So I'm like - hmmm - an hour and a half walk. So here we have accountability and a destination walk which I love. And I haven't had as much since my new condo is further from my regular 20 minutes destinations downtown. It's downtown but tucked in so to speak.

BUT here was my block. I'm not going to pay money and not even be eligible for LIFETIME. You know me all of us can lose weight but keeping it off is all I care about. My goal would be off their charts AND you have to be two pounds. That's insane - two pounds. Two pounds can be a friggin' hiccup.

And I was all "but I've lost most of my weight and kept it off" from not being accountable. The 50 I lost over years and it has stayed off. But I've bounced the more accountable last 20/25 back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. So I had to get over myself and know for whatever reason - age - the operation - unknown - my past actions were not working.

So I went in the first week and asked about LIFETIME. :rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2: They must have thought "what?" :lmao:

And she explained that you never lose it. :thumbsup2 I thought you went over two and poof.

And that they work with you re: two pounds during the six weeks - they don't show you the door. :lmao:

And that WW will not hassle you if your doctor says higher LIFETIME is okay. Shaking my head - my doctor is a black male - here's hoping. :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2: ;);) But I don't know him well at all since I never go so crossing my fingers when the time comes.

    Okay, new post.

So I tried really hard to open my mind to tracking - for all of you. :flower3: I tried. I tracked the entire first week. It almost killed me. :rotfl2:

So I go in after the first week. First weigh in. I feel smaller. Can feel it. Like honestly feel it. And she says "you want to take that shawl off?".

    And I go NO.

    She asks again.

    And I go NO.

I'm up one pound. :rotfl: I'm not alluding this has to do with WW. It doesn't. The shawl ended up to weigh more than a pound but who cares. Laughing - I actually checked when I got home. So funny.

And it was a beautiful moment. They ALL cared that I gained the first week. in the "it's okay - don't worry - wonder what she did? etc:"

I didn't. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: I didn't care about it. Thought it was amusing. Thought I don't want to take my shawl off so that I can be *OKAY*. I am okay.

Paula, get a$$ back here. This is a lot to do with you.

I didn't care. I knew it was off. I knew I felt smaller.

The leader said she too gained her first week and said because she probably had thirty last suppers before her first week that caught up.

And I knew that wasn't me either. :rotfl2: And didn't feel the need to say so either.

What a breakthrough. I'm not caring about a gain. I know this week at WW was not special. I had no last suppers. OMG - that wouldn't have even occurred to me!!! What an insight.

And I realized that my brain is becoming more and more rational. The only thing I've ever wanted as much a goal. Actually I believe I want it more.

So this 7.2 is really 6.2 in two weeks in the end - I knew the plus one the first week was off.

But 6.2 for two weeks is weird too. But it's probably just been lingering and walking/water sparked it.

Or maybe I'll find out next week that it wasn't 100% - probably with Thanksgiving too. But who cares.

So tracking. :rotfl2: I still don't know how you guys do it. I didn't do it most of last week and probably won't do it regularly. But I'm addicted to etools. :cool1: Great, another addiction. :thumbsup2 I plug in some foods and go *interesting*.

So that's all I can write for now. Or more than you all care. :rotfl2:

Can you imagine I'm sitting there like a fraud when they talk points and tracking. Oh well. I respect it BIG TIME.

:rotfl: And here I was going to say "Don't be silly Toto, Scarecrows don't talk" :rotfl2: and "are you a good witch or a bad witch?" "I'm not a witch at all - I'm from Kansas" :rotfl:

    WORD! :thumbsup2

So awesome about WW! It really works. I swear by it. But my head is just not in the game right now :worried: And I'm too stubborn to go to an actual meeting. <sigh>
