September Exercise Challenge - Submit a Name! (Everybody welcome!!)

The challenge is on. And it's a challenge by you to you! Challenge yourself to do "x" number of minutes of exercise this month and then Get Moving!

Post as frequently as you like and I will update the list throughout the month. Please tell me how many minutes you have completed along with your goal for the challenge. For example "I did 60 minutes on the treadmill yesterday, and am now at 60/1200".

As you reach milestones for the month, your name and total will change color in this post.
At 10%, you'll be bright pink
When you reach 25%, you'll be orange
When you reach 50%, you'll be purple
When you reach 75%, you'll be turquoise
At 90%, you'll be red (because you are on fire!)
When you hit 100%, you'll be WISH green!

21k training on the treadmill again today with some extra at the end. I had a total of 8.55 miles in 100 minutes.

I really slacked off last week. So much preparation to get my boyfriend ready to leave for his first week of training in Harrisburg. Time got away from me. I am happy that I did a decent amount of walking on Friday night when we went out in the city and then again on Saturday night when we went to our town's annual "bike night". 15,000 motorcycles taking up about a mile stretch of road!

excited to get back into the real swing of things after work today.:thumbsup2

Hi! Can I join? Been gone from the boards for a few months now but I am getting back in the saddle!

Since I am starting late, I think a goal of 666 is a good idea.

So far I have done: 60 min Zumba class, 40 mins walling the dog, 50 mins swimming, and another 50 min Zumba class.

Hey everyone, updated again today. Sorry I had to take a few days off - please forgive me!

Welcome to the several newcomers - So glad you weren't shy at joining late! Everyone is always welcome, anytime. If you've never done this before, just an FYI, if there is a discrepancy between my numbers and yours, generally the pattern is the host goes with the higher number. Please feel free to correct me if I miss something, I'm happy to change it.

No exercise for me since Saturday's long run (10 miles, 0 creepers). Down with hubby's discarded cold. :rolleyes: I don't usually mind hand me downs but... at least he's done with it! Hoping to get some workout time in today.

Welcome back! Don't worry if you don't make your goal, the result of doing the challenge is usually being encouraged that you're up off the couch and doing something positive. That's really the point. But more power to you if you do - that's what makes it fun. I don't think I made my goal until last month but it's still rewarding to see how much work you've done at the end.

Hi mrsdrake625. I think there has been an error in my minutes. You have me down for 1050 minutes and, while I appreciate the extra boost... I did not earn them...yet.

My correct total should 1019/2500. This total includes the 49 minutes from today.

Never even thought of that when I put woodland walk in there :goodvibes It was at Belvoir Park, a local forest park but now I'm curious I must do a little research and find out how many acres it covers! Wouldn't it be funny if it actually was 100 :rotfl:
