That scares me a little... a sign, perhaps, that they've upped the cap?Looks like they added more host resorts.
Define "hard" - IMO, 10 miles is nothing to sneeze at, but anyone who's done the training shouldn't have a problem with the distance. It's not technically challenging; a large segment is flat, open highway, two up-and-overs on a cloverleaf count as "hills", and the section through WWOS involved lots of narrow sections with some tight turns. To me, the most difficult thing was staying aware of the many people around me - those tight turns, for instance, were packed full of bodies and inviting collisions.so how hard is the course for this race? i havent done many distance races but half the people im working with are doing this race so i was thinking of joining them.
So true! Some folks did Tron outfits last year and they were pretty neat - that idea is tempting, but no way can I wear long tights and long sleeves in the heat.I'd love to do something from the Twilight Zone since in the future we'll all be wearing spandex leotards according to them...
