How Much is your 2015 Vacation going to cost you?

OK...Here it goes...

It's just myself and my DD13 this year. We are unapologetic foodies so we ARE getting the Deluxe Dining Plan.

7/29 - 8/3 (may extend outside of WDW)
AKL Pool View w/Base Tickets & DlxDP - $3,111.00 (Summer Discount)

Southwest $275 - We had vouchers (due to last years travel snafu) to use which covered all but taxes for our Flights one-way.

I love - love - love having all our meals and snacks paid for before we go. As this is not our first trip, souvenirs are super minimal. We also may extend our trip as friends have invited us to stay at their house rental for a few days in FL.

Total Trip Cost - $3,386.00
Countless Hours Spent Planning and Making Reservations - Priceless

Have not booked but calculated this every which way and the cheapest I can come up with is:
Fam of 6, 3 adult, 3 children based on age
2 rooms at Pop with 5 day hoppers = 3944.64 (With AAA I would save 29.70 total on the tickets, but no idea if that is more of a hassle to buy them separately given they now use those bracelets)
If I book Pop for 5 nights with one night at the Poly the cost is 4181.94.
Airfare at present Bos-Mco is 1533 and I can use 312 in card points to get it for 1221.
I also have about $100 in Dis card money I could put towards the hotel and tickets which is why I am considering the one night at Poly.
Would LOVE free dining because I have no food factored into my 5402+ total. No clue if they give it to Value resorts - YEARS ago we did get it.
If room discounts would apply I guess I would need to recalc what works for 6 of us, 2 rooms at the cheapest moderate is currently 2533 (Caribbean Beach).

We tend to pay things separately throughout the year so it doesn't hurt as much, but I'm always shocked at the end result and how much we actually spend! This is the cost for my mom and I:

Airfare - Montreal to Orlando - $400 US each
Art of Animation, Little Mermaid (14 nights in May) - $2,300 US
10 Day Park Hoppers (WDW) - $437 US each
3 day Park Hoppers for Universal - $193 US each
Rental car for 14 nights - $292 US

So not counting an EPCOT tour I booked, some dining (like CRT) already paid, and any food and souvenirs we'll buy, its $3,622 total for 2 people ($4,555 CAD :scared:)

April 2015
7 nights at the Beach Club - Club Level
8 day park tickets
Park Hopper
Dining Plan
Memory Maker
Travel expenses from PA (driving)

$7,367.36 (ouch)

It's a lot of money but in my mind, we live large for a week! Kids grow up too fast so why not splurge!
Third year in a row for us and probably a while before we get back!

Ok, can't remember if I already added mine, but I've made some changes to our plan anyway so here goes:

November 14th-23rd
me, DH & DS12 (my parents are going with us too but their package is separate so not included in totals)

9 nights CBR, 9 day park hoppers, free dining (I hope) 3210.00
MVMCP 210.00
Tips, extra food 250.00
Miscellaneous, souvies 300.00
Alchohol (yes I budget for this :)) 200.00
Travel money (driving from MS-about 11 hrs) 300.00
SOA or HDDR 210.00
TOTAL 4,680.00

Of course, this amount may change if we don't get free dining, or if I add additional activities, etc. Also, if I happen to be able to swing it, I may upgrade to DxDDP.

Sept. 19th thru Sept. 26th.

It isn't going to cost us nearly as much as refurbishing our house with new windows (ouch :guilty: )

That being said...
Airfare: $500 (round trip for both my wife and I)
MNSSHP: $140 (rough guesstimate at this point)
Hotel/dining plan/tickets/etc: $4100
