Great update! So many pictures! I can't wait to go to the Food and Wine fest after seeing all those pics! And the caramel shop...mmmmm!!!
I'm going to have such a hard time deciding what to get there!
I can't believe you haven't done Soarin before this trip!
I LOVE Soarin, I have to do it as many times as possible!
I really enjoyed the F&W festival, and I'm looking forward to next year to do more of the booths that I missed this year
Honestly, every time I went to Epcot when I was a CM, it was usually to go on Maelstrom or have dinner or something. The signs always said the FPs were gone and the wait was outrageous, which was why I never did it. But I did like it
A caramel store...o man! loved getting a glimpse of all the little treats from F&W...the photos from spaceship earth are great, totally forgot to take ours!
had my most lol moment ever whilst reading trip reports when you sneaked in that photo of pooh stuffed in the face on the wall!
Yeah, the caramel store opened in early October, I think
Or late September. One or the other. It was awesome, though!
Glad you liked Pooh getting stuffed in the statue's mouth
I just couldn't help it. I watched Winnie the Pooh way too much as a kid and was like "Hey, it's like he's stuck in Rabbit's door!"
Ask and ye shall receive...
YAY! Thank you so much!
And I'm off on Monday, so I can make it! I just have to pick up some Bailey's!
Technically you read it...
Yay! I loved your Epcot updates!
That F&W festival food looks so amazing!
I will never forgive myself for being at Epcot in 2007 during the F&W festival and NOT SAMPLING A SINGLE THING. Shame on me and my lack of Disney knowledge!
I love that Sharon is adding pics to your TR! I like getting to see what you were up to along with what your were seeing from behind your camera!
O.M.G. I have to get to that caramel place NOW. I remember when you texted me that picture of the caramel apple I almost dropped dead from jealousy. I am definitely going there in December!
I really like the F&W festival. When I explain it to my family, I have to keep referring to it as "an international Taste", as in
the Taste of Chicago. That got my dad interested in it, especially when I showed him the list of what they were offering this year
And hey, I never did it while I was a CM! At the Taste, you have to have tickets, which I thought was the case with F&W. I had to explain that to my parents as well.
I love that, too! Thank you, Sharon!
I have very few pictures that have me in them that aren't on Photopass, so it's nice to have those, too
Plus, she's a good photographer, so I actually look pretty in some of them
The caramel place is AWESOME. Apparently, they sell out of the strawberries very early, so if you want one of those, get there early.
LOVE all the food and wine pics! Though I do have to say, as blasphemous as it sounds, I'm not sure I will be ready for F&W next year... I mean, Jack's not exactly the walk around and sample foods kid... maybe we will wait for a few years till my parents want to go, because I know they will love it. I am not a seafood eater at all though... but all the desserts look lovely! I am so getting a caramel apple!!!
You know what? That's totally understandable. If it doesn't work for you guys, then don't do it
I think my parents would love it, too, which is why I want the reunion to happen while it's still ongoing, but everyone wants me to move it to a different week (and they all have different weeks that would work best). Bleh.
But yeah, the desserts were awesome! I'm not a seafood eater either, but the fisherman's pie was good. The caramel apple was fabulous! I want another one! I wonder if melting down Werther's caramels and coating an apple in those would taste the same...
Great updates! The F&W festival makes me so happy. Just seeing the booths makes me giddy.
Definitely my favorite time to go.
I am so excited to go to the caramel shop, since it's new. I llloooooovvvvveeee caramel!
Honestly, that was my first time doing the booths, even though I'd worked there before during that time. I really enjoyed it, though
Caramel is awesome! There's so much stuff in there, too. They sell packaged Werther's candies, and they also have the fresh stuff. Fudges and apples and marshmallows and all sorts of stuff!
